Three people rescued from boat fire in Brixham

A helicopter from St Athan and RNLI lifeboats were sent to the scene

Three people were rescued from a boat fire off the coast of Brixham on Monday (3rd March).

A helicopter from St Athan and RNLI lifeboats were sent to the scene at around 8:15pm.

All three people are safely recovered.

The HM Coastguard said in a statement: "HM Coastguard responded to an incident involving a vessel on fire off the coast of Brixham.

"All three persons on board have been accounted for and recovered. HM Coastguard continues to monitor the vessel which is to be towed to a safe location."
