Police discovered the body of a man near the A1 yesterday afternoon
A body has been found near the A1 in Stamford in the search for a missing man from Peterborough.
Robert Mee left his home in the Werrington area and was last seen walking north on Lincoln Road on 25 September.
Police discovered a body at around 4pm yesterday (Friday 3rd October 2024).
The 58 year old's family have been informed - and formal identification's due to take place.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
