England's Euros 2024 squad:

Gareth Southgate named a 33-man preliminary squad for England's two pre-tournament friendlies against Bosnia and Iceland on Tuesday 21st May, which saw the likes of Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford, Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Nick Pope all miss out.

He then named his official 26-man squad for the Euros on Thursday 6th June, making the tough decision to leave out James Trafford, Jarad Branthwaite, Jarell Quansah, Harry Maguire, Curtis Jones, Jack Grealish and James Maddison.

On Wednesday 26th June, the FA confirmed midfielder Phil Foden had "temporarily" left the Euro 2024 camp and returned to the UK for family reasons. It was later revealed he left to be present for the birth of his third child and will return back to Germany in time for the scheduled game.

Has Jude Bellingham been banned?

21-year-old Jude Bellingham was investigated by UEFA over a gesture he made during his last-minute goal celebration against Slovakia.

Following the investigation, Jude was fined €30,000 (£25,400), and given a one-game suspended ban. This means he will be free to play England's Quarter-Final game against Switzerland, and continue in the Euros.

Responding to the incident just hours after it happened, the Real Madrid midfielder wrote on social media: '🥱❌- An inside joke gesture towards some close friends who were at the game. Nothing but respect for how that Slovakia team played tonight.🤝🏽'. (sic)

Has Southgate left England?

Former Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace player Gareth Southgate OBE was the England manager for the 2024 Euros. Southgate, who made 57 appearances for England in his playing days, was given the job in September 2016, taking over from Roy Hodgson.

Southgate led the team to fourth place at the 2018 World Cup, and third place at the UEFA Nations League in 2019. In 2021, England finished as runners-up in Euro 2020, matching the same place during the 2024 Euros.

Just days after the final in July 2024, Southgate announced he was stepping down as England manager, after 102 games in charge over nearly eight years.

In a statement released on Tuesday 16th July, he said: “As a proud Englishman, it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England. It has meant everything to me and I have given it my all.

“But it’s time for change and for a new chapter. Sunday’s final in Berlin against Spain was my final game as England manager.”

Who will be the next England manager?

The FA are yet to confirm Gareth Southgate's replacement, but already rumours are rife, with a number of names in the running.

Names such as Eddie Howe, Graham Potter, Mauricio Pochettino and England Under 21s boss Lee Carsley are apparently all on the FA's list.

What does England's new strip look like?

The brand new Nike England home and away kits were unveiled on Sunday 17th March.

Nike describe the England 2024 home kit as a 'modern take on a classic white strip. The trim on the cuffs takes its cues from the training gear worn by England legends of the past, in a bold purple colour that remixes reds and blues of the past. The same colours also feature in a playful interpretation of the flag of St George on the back of the collar'.

The England 2024 away kit 'reimagines iconic kits from the past with a modern twist, making a bold statement with an eye-catching purple - a modern mix of classic blue and red England change kits of the past. The graphic side panels feature seven different colours with a nod to English fashion, while also giving the flag of St. George on the collar a standout style'.

The men's kits are available to buy now.
