The Masked Singer finished its third series this year, but its popularity has continued to rise with the confirmation it will be back for two more seasons, so it's no surprise that a spin-off series could be on its way too.

The bonkers show, which originally started off in South Korea, called The King of Mask Singer, is now a global success with programmes in more than 56 countries!

So, what better way to celebrate the show's success, than by bringing together winners from the localised shows in one place for One World, One Masked Singer - on the search for The Global Masked Singer Champion.

Variety report the US show's executive producer Craig Plestis saying in a statement: 'This project has been a dream of mine since I realised that The Masked Singer was going to be a global phenomenon following the success of the format in the US.

'It is now in more than 56 countries, and I cannot wait to gather together delegates from each and every one, in brand new costumes, for an epic competition series to air across the planet in each Masked Singer territory.'

Craig bought the US rights to the show from MBC (a South Korean television and radio broadcaster). Speaking about the new show, MBC America's managing director of content & channel business, Nahee Kim said: "This will be a fantastic opportunity to expand our global brand of The King of Masked Singer and we expect this to be a big global success."

Participating countries have not yet been announced for this new show but we can't wait to see who's involved. So far in the UK, our winners have been Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts as Queen Bee, Joss Stone as Sausage and Natalie Imbruglia as Panda.
