Kelly Clarkson and Kelsey Grammer team up to perform the Frasier theme song
The TV series was recently revived
Following the successful revival of Frasier last year, where Kelsey Grammer reprised his role as Frasier Crane, alongside Only Fools and Horses actor Nicholas Lyndhurst, Kelsey has appeared on stage with Kelly Clarkson, to perform the famous theme song.
The song, which was recorded by the actor for the original run of the series between 1993 and 2004, was re-sung for last year's revival.
Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, a popular US entertainment show, the actor stood next to the show's host Kelly during the Kellyoke segment, Kelsey told the audience: "Ya'll know how this goes", before breaking out into song.
Accompanied by a live band, the duo sang the instantly recognisable song, much to the audience's delight. After their performance, Kelly, who is known her songs such as 'Since U Been Gone' and 'Never Again', told Kelsey: "I love you! This is like a dream come true for me, ya’ll. Frasier is one of my favourite (shows) – you have no idea. I’m freaking out right now."
The new series of Frasier, like the original, is set in Boston, where Frasier's son Freddy has just started college. Nicholas Lyndhurst stars as Frasier's old college friend, who is now a professor, along with returning cast Bebe Neuwirth, playing Frasier's ex-wife Lilith (Freddy's mum) and Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle - the producer of Frasier's radio show.
The new series of Frasier consists of 10 episodes, available now to watch on Paramount+.
