I'm A Celeb fans share support for AngryGinge as he breaks down in camp
The 24-year-old got emotional in camp
Things have been pretty rosy in camp so far for this year's celebs on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, with the group eating well thanks to their excellent performance in trials.
However, with a turn in the weather and Aitch and AngryGinge taking over as camp leaders, tensions are beginning to rise, and things all got too much for YouTuber Ginge during Monday night's (24th November) episode.
On Sunday night's episode, Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, decided to tell camp he'd only won five stars in his trial, with the group later finding out he was winding them up as their evening meal was delivered.
The next morning, both Jack Osbourne and Ruby Wax were left wary of Ginge, with Jack admitting to him: "I know this isn't intentional Ginge but it got in my head about how well you played saying you only got five stars.
"I was like - 'Can I trust Ginge?' As I was going to bed, tired and whatever. I was like: 'Has he been lying to me the whole time?' It legitimately did play with me. Well played but also you played with me."
Ruby then declared she feels the camp have become divided since Aitch and Ginge took over from Vogue and Tom as camp leaders, leaving the boys feeling a little deflated.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph after looking at his family photo, Ginge said: "It's a bit of a s--t day really, I just feel as though I'm missing home, missing speaking to my family, food and drink as well is a massive part but they say you have up days and down days…
"I'm holding it in. I suppose it's just one of my down days…"
Later in the episode, Ginge opened up about his beloved grandma to the group, before taking himself off for a cry away from his camp mates.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he then added: "It's just a long time to be away really. On the outside I kind of just have the option to text my mum, text whoever I want. Don't get me wrong I know I'm going to see her again in however many days, it's just tough."
After seeing the upsetting scenes, viewers took to social media to express their love and support for the 24-year-old.
One viewer wrote: 'Never have I wanted to hug the tv screen more', with another adding: 'Felt so sorry for him in this episode. He is usually so bubbly and to see him so homesick was so sad... he needs a cuddle'. (sic)
Another wrote: 'Proper lad Ginge. Made me sad seeing him cry. Men cry too 🫡', with somebody else adding: 'I think everyone's comments in the morning triggered this, especially Jack's comment. Poor Ginge 😢'. (sic)
A worried viewer then said: 'I hate how he crys alone while everyone else crys to someone', with another adding: 'I know it’s edited and only so much can be fitted into a show, but did any of the others check on him? You’ve made it seem like he’s taken himself off and cried all day and no one’s noticed! Yet everyone else cries and they’re shown being comforted'. (sic)
