Netflix confirm second series of Steven Knight's House of Guinness

In March last year, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight announced his next project, House of Guinness, which fans had been eagerly anticipating. The first series dropped in September 2025 and has been hugely popular with Netflix users, with many calling for a second series.
Will there be a second series?
After the show's creator Steven Knight revealed he had plans to make a lot more future series, Netflix confirmed the news of a second series on Monday 24th August 2026!
Netflix has confirmed production will begin in early 2027, saying of the show: 'Steven Knight's decadent 19th-century Dublin drama returns for a second season, following the Guinness Family as they wrestle with ambition, intrigue and forbidden love'.
Steven commented: “It was such a joy to bring the Guinness story to the screen, so I'm beyond thrilled to be continuing the story of one of the world's greatest dynasties into season two. I can't wait to dive deeper into these characters and their complex relationships as they expand the Guinness empire.”
What is House of Guinness about?
House of Guinness follows the children of Arthur Guinness.
The synopsis for season one reads: 'Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story will focus on the consequences of the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his cunning will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the growing juggernaut that is Guinness.'
When did it start?
All eight episodes of House of Guinness landed at 8am on Thursday 25th September 2025.

There's no word on when series two will land, but it could be late in 2027.
Is there a trailer?
The trailer for series one was released on Monday 1st September 2025, alongside the caption: 'Trouble is brewing in the House of Guinness. Who will keep their head?
'A new series from the creator of Peaky Blinders, arriving on Netflix 25th September'. (sic)
At this stage, there's no trailer for season two.
Who is in House of Guinness?
Netflix revealed details of the cast on Friday 26th July 2024, and it's a stellar line-up!
James Norton (Happy Valley), Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air), Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones) and Fionn O’Shea (Normal People) all appear, as well as Hilda Fay, Emily Fairn and Seamus O'Hara.
