The Police release 40th anniversary editions of their final album 'Synchronicity'

Celebrating more than 40 years since the release of their final album 'Synchronicity', The Police have now released their 40th anniversary editions of the album.
The new versions of the band's album, are available on various formats, and include 55 previously unreleased tracks, along with their Number 1 hit single 'Every Breath You Take'.
At the time of the original album's release on 17th June 1983, it reached Number 1 in the UK and spawned four Top 10 hits in the UK, including 'Wrapped Around Your Finger', 'Synchronicity II', and 'King of Pain'.
It was also nominated for five Grammy Awards in 1984, winning three (Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, Song of the Year (‘Every Breath You Take’) and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal).
As well as the extra tracks, the new versions of the album include a 62-page boxset booklet featuring extensive new liner notes written by music journalist Jason Draper, interviews, rare archive memorabilia and unseen photographs.
Ahead of the anniversary editions of the album, the band have been sharing several videos from the 'Synchronicity' era.

Pop icon, Kim Wilde, is set to release her highly anticipated 15th studio album, in January 2025. The 80s singer famed for 'Kids In America' announced the news alongside the release of her new single 'Trail of Destruction'.
'Closer' is Kim's first studio album since 2018's 'Here Come The Aliens' and is guaranteed to bring more hits, alongside that unmistakable voice. Intended as a companion piece to her fan-favourite 1988 album 'Close', this new offering is said to be made up of a combination of pop, rock and dance.
