While you can hear Christmas tunes on air, it seems that they're already beginning to get into the chart too, with one of the Christmas favourites, Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' already making its way into the Top 40.

Currently Mariah is at Number 31, but no doubt with four weeks until the big day, the song has plenty of time to rise through the charts and despite the song having never reached Number 1, it's very likely it will get into the Top 10.
'All I Want For Christmas Is You' was originally released in 1994 reaching Number 2 and since then has reappeared around Christmas throughout the decades, earning Mariah and the co-writer a lot of money each year! Last year it was estimated she earned around £3 million from it!
Meanwhile, it isn't just Mariah's Christmas classic which has made an early entry into the charts this year. Currently just sitting outside the Top 40 is Wham!'s 'Last Christmas', while The Pogues', 'Fairytale of New York' is at Number 63.
