Austin Butler reveals how to dance like Elvis
Now where are those 'Blue Suede Shoes'?
As the excitement for the Elvis movie built up ahead of its release last summer, the stars of the film made numerous TV appearances around the world. Austin Butler, who takes on the title role of Elvis appeared on Jimmy Fallon's talk show in June, to speak about the film and also give the TV host a dancing lesson!
In the film, Austin not only plays the role of the King of Rock and Roll, he also sings and dances to Elvis' songs. Despite admitting he isn't a singer or dancer, and is actually a "shy wallflower", Austin got up to show Jimmy how to dance like Elvis.
The actor talked Jimmy through how to do a move he dubbed the 'side one', dancing like The King did in the 50s, and it's pretty impressive!

During the interview, Austin also opened up about how he worked on Elvis' different accents throughout the film. He explained how he watched archive footage of Elvis throughout his life, with Jimmy Fallon describing it as "three different characters".
The 30-year-old actor also explained how he could relate to Elvis losing his mum at the age of just 23, as that was the same age Austin had lost his own mum. "It's the most human thing, that grief that you feel," he explained.
