British publishing house Genesis Publications have now released Bon Jovi’s first-ever authored anthology. The book, which features 260 pages is now available to buy in the UK and is written by Jon Bon Jovi himself.

Sharing its title with the band’s 2024 studio album, Bon Jovi: Forever chronicles Bon Jovi’s legendary 40-year history from their humble beginnings in New Jersey through to becoming stadia-conquering rock megastars.

Genesis Publications’ synopsis of Bon Jovi: Forever reads: ‘The meticulously curated collection showcases a treasure trove of memorabilia, including handwritten lyrics, tour passes and posters, iconic stage costumes, guitars, studio track lists and hundreds of photographs from the band's personal archives and private collections.

‘Complemented by an array of vivid images that capture Bon Jovi live, backstage, on tour, and in the studio, this book offers fans a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the band's enduring legacy.’

It continues: ‘Through exclusive interviews, Jon Bon Jovi shares the intimate stories behind the artifacts, shedding light on the creative process behind his songwriting, the making of the band's legendary albums, and the key performances that cemented Bon Jovi's place in rock history.

“Jon's narrative describes writing lyrics in his high school notebooks and playing the Asbury Park scene as an ambitious teenager, recording his first hit 'Runaway', which was soon to be followed by the now multi-Platinum Slippery When Wet and New Jersey albums, igniting the band's 'rocket ship to success' and, four decades on, brings us right up to date with the making of the band's recent 16th studio album, Forever.

‘His candid reflections offer a deeper understanding of the band's brotherhood, their distinctive style, and the unwavering trust that fuelled their success.’

Commenting on Bon Jovi’s unique kinship, Jon Bon Jovi says: “As band members, you share a unique bond that no one else can truly understand, not even family. That brotherhood comes with a long career like ours.

“We all felt part of something special, trusted each other, and they trusted me. I never let them down. It was always a give-and-take by everybody.”

Limited Edition

Earlier this year it was announced that a lavish version of the book would be published in a limited edition of only 1,500 individually numbered copies globally. Each copy would be individually hand-signed by Jon Bon Jovi.

Quarter-bound in black vegan leather and presented in a black clamshell box, the interior lid of the box contains an exclusive 7" vinyl single boasting two specially selected recordings, which will be announced shortly.

This version of the book costs £265.

In addition to limited edition, the book is also available as a standard edition, which is priced at £60. The book also features 260 pages of both colour and black and white.
