Although there's been no official confirmation from the BBC just yet, rumours have been rife in recent days about which famous faces will be replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Strictly Come Dancing.

With reports suggesting Emma Willis has landed one of the hosting roles, Zoe Ball then confirmed she failed to get the job, and now another name has reportedly been 'revealed' to host alongside Emma.

According to The Sun, professional dancer and Strictly favourite Johannes Radebe impressed bosses in the recent on-screen chemistry tests.

A source said: "Everyone involved in the auditions – including the celebs – are saying the job is going to JoJo. During the chemistry tests, he was paired up with every other celeb and did incredibly well."

As the BBC are yet to confirm anything officially, it's not yet known if Johannes reportedly landing the role would mean he won't appear as a professional dancer this year.

Following the departure of Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, Michelle Tsiakkas and Gorka Márquez, the BBC released a list of which dancers will be returning, which did feature Johannes.

The source continued: "They all think he would be the perfect partner for Emma. He has been announced as one of the returning professional dancers but that doesn’t mean bosses aren’t going to promote him."

Over the last few years, Johannes has been a huge part of the show, being paired with celebrity partners including Alex Kingston, Montell Douglas, Annabel Croft and Ellie Taylor. During series 19, Johannes made history by being part of the first-ever same sex couple, when he was paired with John Whaite. The pair were loved by viewers and finished the show in second place.

Rumours have been in overdrive ever since Tess and Claudia announced last year that they'd be leaving after the 2025 series.

Names like Alison Hammond, Holly Willoughby, Bradley Walsh, Rylan Clark and Josh Widdecombe have all been mentioned, but it looks like Emma and Johannes may have landed the exciting gig.

The BBC are set to confirm the new hosts in the coming weeks.
