Now that Christmas is out of the way and the New Year has started, all we can think about right now is Winter Love Island, as the new series officially begins on Sunday 12th January!
After ITV confirmed that Laura Whitmore would be taking over for the upcoming sixth series, we thought we'd take a look at all of the rumoured faces for the upcoming show in South Africa.
Jay Munro
Rumours were rife that Scottish model Jay would enter the Love Island villa in 2019, but when he was a no-show, it's now believed he's one of the contestants for the Winter series.
Jay is a model and semi-professional footballer who already has over 75,000 followers on Instagram. He apparently also pals with former Islanders including Dom Lever and Josh Denzel.
A source previously told The Daily Star, “Jay will be the one all the girls will be chasing. Just like Tommy Fury, he’s a sportsman, in good shape and has dreamy looks.”
Sophie Piper
Last year it was heavily reported that Rochelle Humes' little sister Sophie Piper would be entering the villa, but she was nowhere to be seen.
Now, rumours are rife that the model is heading into the Winter series, with a TV source saying, “Sophie is a dead ringer for Rochelle and viewers will love the likeness. ITV2 bosses are hoping she will be the star of this series.
"She’s got a really bubbly personality, plus they love the famous link.”
Ellis Iyayi
20.year-old Ellis is another male model rumoured to enter the Winter Love Island villa! The personal trainer from Leicestershire has worked with the likes of JD, ASOS and BooHoo in the past, so he's no stranger to Islander life.
A TV source said, “Ellis is over the moon about it – he’s had to be sworn to secrecy about it but he’s been in to meet producers a few times and they love him – he can’t wait to get in the villa.
“Ellis is exactly what the show is looking for and he ticks all the boxes – he will make great television.’
Charles Drury
You may reconise Charles for being Katie Price's ex-boyfriend, but according to reports, ITV2 bosses are keen to sign him up for the Winter series.
After turning down the 2019 series because he was dating somebody at the time, Charles has reportedly auditioned for the 2020 show.
Of course, ITV are keeping VERY quiet about the official line-up for the 2020 Winter series, but with the series due to begin on Sunday 12th January, the Islanders are expected to fly over to South Africa in the first week of the new year.
