Why is Netflix going up?

Following a price hike in March 2022, Netflix last changed their prices back in October 2023, before axing the popular Basic Plan in July 2024.

With the price hike applying to both new and existing users, Netflix said: "We will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can re-invest to further improve Netflix."

In the email sent out to current users, Netflix said: 'You'll always find something you'll want to watch, keeping you up to date on all the latest trending titles. Next month alone, we’re releasing 86 series and films! Whether you want to revisit old favourites or discover something new, we’ve got you covered.'

Can you share passwords on Netflix?

Netflix chose to enforce a password-sharing ban in 2023 across the world, which turned out to be a positive move for the streaming giant, with them finishing 2024 with more than 300 million subscribers.
