The bonkers show is back for another series!
Love it or hate it, The Masked Singer has completely swept up the British public. Originally created in South Korea and named The King of Mask Singer, the TV franchise has been a huge hit over in the US as well, and totally took the UK by storm for its first six seasons.
As The Masked Singer UK has now hit our screens for a brand new season, here's everything you need to know about the show, including which celebs have been unmasked so far and those all important clues...
When is The Masked Singer on?
The Masked Singer returned on 3rd January, with an additional episode on Sunday 4th January.

Series seven of The Masked Singer is airing on ITV1, with all previous episodes (including from series one to six) now available on ITVX.

The characters for series seven of The Masked Singer were unveiled on Sunday 28th December, and it's fair to say they are as bonkers as ever!

Teabag
British rapper Professor Green was unmasked in the second episode of The Masked Singer 2026. He'd been hidden behind Teabag, trying to hide his recognisable London accent. He said of the judge's guesses: "None of them were anywhere near. I was laughing behind the mask."
Sang: 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' by Deep Blue Something
Clues: Many highlighted his "posh accent" and obvious height, leading them to guess tall celebrities like Stephen Merchant and Richard Osman. A clue involving clocks led the panel towards newsreaders like Trevor McDonald, when it was actually a reference to his song 'Never Be a Right Time'.

Disc Jockey
Broadcaster Alex Jones was unmasked in the first week of The Masked Singer 2026 - having been hiding behind Disc Jockey. She said it was: "the most bizarre experience of my life" but said: "I think it's good to push yourself right out of your comfort zone sometimes and good for the kids to see their mama do it!"
Sang: 'Pink Pony Club' by Chappell Roan.
Clues: The number one was repeatedly referenced, which of course refers to her long-standing role as the main host of The One Show since 2010. There was also mention of representing her country. Alex is a proud Welshwoman.

Comedian Mo Gilligan returned to the panel alongside Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Maya Jama, who replaced Rita Ora.
Who hosts The Masked Singer UK?
Joel Dommett is once again hosting The Masked Singer.
In an interview with Hits Radio in January 2025, Joel revealed he's had to install gates at his house, after mega fans turned up at his door, chanting the show's catchprase: "I had to get a gate, and make the hedge bigger, because people kept knocking on the door and saying 'take it off, take it off' and running away!"
