We are now three weeks into the 12th series of Married At First Sight Australia here in the UK, and whilst couples like Jamie and Dave, Carina and Paul, and Rhi and Jeff seem to be getting along very nicely, the same cannot be said for Jacqui and Ryan!

From the moment they met at the altar it was clear to see it was certainly going to be a journey, but fans weren't prepared for just how much drama 29-year-old Jacqui would bring to the show...

Just one day after 'hitting the reset button' at the second commitment ceremony, where they told experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla they'd had a huge breakthrough, things seemingly took 10 steps back during the episode on Tuesday 25th March.

At the beginning of the episode, Jacqui decided to created a list of Ryan's past indiscretions, which included him accidently dropping her during a dance on their wedding day. Clearly not happy with his wife's list, Ryan expressed his frustrations, resulting in Jacqui to continue to list the things she'd like her husband to work on to 'better himself'.

But it was Jacqui's behaviour later in the show which really left viewers speechless! Jacqui and Ryan, along with the other couples in the experiment, all attended the wedding of brand new couple Beth and Teejay, and after hearing 28-year-old's Teejay vows to his new wife, Jacqui felt the need to reflect on her own wedding, telling Ryan she believed his words lacked depth.

Things didn't end there, with Jacqui and Ryan's argument spilling out across the day, with the other cast members also getting involved to try and get their heads around the reasoning for Jacqui's outburst.

After discovering Jacqui had messaged her husband to ask for a chat without her there, 34-year-old Rhi then waded into the conversation, accusing Jacqui of going behind her back, which resulted in Jacqui dramatically breaking down at the table.

An angry and upset Ryan then said: "What the hell is going on? I couldn't believe she was serious.. That was the last straw for me. Are you serious? Today is not about us."

After seeing the episode unfold, viewers of the show were quick to take to social media to express their shock and disgust at Jacqui ruining Beth and Teejay's wedding ceremony.

One wrote: 'Why is jacqui making teejay & Beth's wedding all about her. Honestly grow up #MAFSAU #mafs', with another adding: 'I don't think I've ever seen a group so worn out by one of their fellow brides/grooms. It must be exhausting'. (sic)

Another wrote: 'Jacqui at someone else’s wedding and is just Me Me Me 🙄#MAFSAU', with another adding: 'I don't care what Jacqui thinks. I want to see Beth and Teejay at their own wedding. Stop cutting to Jacqui every 5 seconds! #MAFSAU'. (sic)

Somebody else commented: 'Are we at a wedding or a commitment ceremony?'. (sic)

Awhina and Adrian

Both twins, the experts matched 30-year-olds Awhina and Adrian.

Wedding day:
Although initial attraction was certainly there between the two, Awhina was a little taken-a-back when Adrian joked in his vows about not having children, being a mum herself. Unable to find the right moment to tell him she has a little boy, Awhina's step dad and mum broke the news in their speeches, which left Adrian and his family in shock. After discussing the matter in private, Adrian didn't exactly give Awhina the reassurance she was looking for.

Honeymoon:
Things started off well for the pair on their honeymoon, with Awhina and Adrian being intimate and very playful with each other. However, on the last night, things took an awkward turn when the subject of family came up. When given the honeymoon box by the experts, Adrian admitted he doesn't know how he feels that Awhina has experienced having her first child with somebody else, and revealed he doesn't know if he will be able to love her child as much as he would love his own. Taken aback by the comment, Awhina admitted it could be a big issue for the pair.

First commitment ceremony:
Awhina and Adrian both chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Following a tough week and a deep chat with the experts, both Awhina and Adrian chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
After a week which saw Adrian take off his ring and leave the experiment due to not being featured in the MAFS promo video, and have a secret dinner with fellow bride Sierah, Adrian chose to return and wanted to stay. Despite this, Awhina chose to leave, but due to Adrian staying, the pair remained in the experiment.

Rhi and Jeff

34-year-old Rhi was matched with 39-year-old Jeff by the experts.

Wedding day:
It turned out Rhi and Jeff's wedding day wasn't the first time these two had met, as they'd previously dated, unbeknownst to the experts! Despite this the pair both seemed happy to see one another, revealing they remained friends, even running a marathon together. The pair were both keen to see how things panned out during the experiment.

Honeymoon:
Taking things slowly, Rhi and Jeff enjoyed a very positive honeymoon together, admitting they are excited to see how things work out.

First commitment ceremony:
Both Rhi and Jeff chose to stay, admitting the wheels have turned in a positive direction.

Second commitment ceremony:
Following another positive week, both Rhi and Jeff chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
Despite being involved in drama thanks to Jacqui, Rhi and Jeff both chose to stay and admitted they have now been intimate.

Jacqui and Ryan

The experts matched 29-year-old Jacqui and 36-year-old Ryan.

Wedding day:
Although Ryan seemed to be impressed by his match, telling the camera everything was going accordingly, the same couldn't be said for Jacqui, who addressed a few concerns about Ryan. As the wedding reception went on and she got to know Ryan more, Jacqui admitted the pair had a lot of things not in common, and she wasn't too thrilled about his choice of dog breed. However, Ryan seemed to pull Jacqui back round with his personal wedding speech, where she admitted she's now got a lot of hope for the pair's future.

First commitment ceremony:
Despite some issues, both Jacqui and Ryan chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Although they were up and down during intimacy week, both Jacqui and Ryan chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
Despite another whirlwind week for the pair, which featured some huge arguments, both Jacqui and Ryan chose to stay for another week.

Morena and Tony

The oldest couple to take part in this year's experiment is 57-year-old Morena and 53-year-old Tony.

Wedding day:
Things got off to a good start for Morena and Tony, who seemed very pleased upon seeing each other for the first time. During the reception, Morena's children made a lovely speech, where they told Tony to treat their mum like the 'Queen she is', something Tony agreed he would do. There was a little tension with Tony's cousin at the wedding, who confessed he thought Tony should have been matched with a younger woman, but Tony seemed to dismiss his claims, telling him Morena is a 'beautiful woman'.

First commitment ceremony:
Despite a rocky start, Morena and Tony both chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Although Morena chose to leave, Tony wanted to stay and press the reset button on their relationship. Morena agreed, with the pair staying for another week.

Third commitment ceremony:
After taking advice from the experts in the previous week, Morena and Tony enjoyed some date nights with Tony also making an effort to be more present. The pair both chose to stay.

Beth and Teejay

28-year-olds Beth and Teejay were the first intruder cast couples to get married.

Wedding day:
Despite Beth and Teejay's wedding day being overshadowed by the behaviour of Jacqui, the pair seemed to have a great connection as they said their vows. During the reception, the physical attraction between the pair was clear to see!

First commitment ceremony:
Following a great first week in the experiment, Beth an Teejay were quick to reveal they both wanted to stay.

Lauren and Clint

Following her failed romance with Eliot earlier on in the series, Lauren was invited back to the experiment and paired with 43-year-old Clint.

Wedding day:
Despite having initial reservations due to her history on the show, Lauren seemed to get on well with professional golfer Clint on their wedding day. The pair quickly realised they had a lot of things in common, with Lauren admitting she had a 'glimmer of hope'. Lauren and Clint also had an in-depth conversation about her history with Eliot, with Clint left shocked at his behaviour towards her.

First commitment ceremony:
Both Lauren and Clint chose to stay.

Veronica and Eliot

Eliot was also invited back for a second chance, with the experts pairing him with 32-year-old Veronica.

Wedding day:
Initial attraction was apparent between Veronica and Eliot on their wedding day, and although Eliot was a little cryptic in his vows, he later explained about his history on the show later in the ceremony to his new wife and her friends.

First commitment ceremony:
Despite Veronica having reservations after discovering Eliot's behaviour to former wife Lauren, his words and apology to Lauren during the commitment ceremony reassured her, with both Veronica and Eliot deciding to stay.

Sierah and Billy - LEFT

The experts chose to match 31-year-olds Sierah and Billy together.

Wedding day:
Billy's upbeat personality and charm was certainly an instant winner with wife Sierah, with him even getting down on one knee and proposing before the ceremony went ahead. The couple seemed to get along very well during the reception, with their family and friends having high hopes for the pair.

Honeymoon:
Sierah and Billy's honeymoon continued in a positive way, with the pair getting intimate with each other. The couple enjoyed spending time with each other and getting to know each other more, both looking very happy together.

First commitment ceremony:
Sierah and Billy both chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Despite being intimate for the first time since their honeymoon, things took an awkward turn for the pair at the commitment ceremony, when Sierah admitted she'd emotionally opened up to fellow groom Adrian. Despite this, Sierah and Billy chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
It was an emotional chat with the experts for Sierah and Billy, after Sierah had dinner with fellow groom Adrian and opened up emotionally to him, despite admitting she couldn't with Billy. Following the chat, the pair both chose to leave, admitting it was clear they weren't meant for each other.

Ashleigh and Jake - LEFT

34-year-old Ash was paired with 30-years-old Jake by the experts.

Wedding day:
Ash and Jake immediately hit it off at the altar, with the pair seemingly getting on from the moment they clocked eyes on each other. Although there was a few moments of silence at the ceremony, it looks like this match will be a success!

Honeymoon:
The pair had zero issues on their honeymoon, getting to know each other more and sharing lots of laughs together.

First commitment ceremony:
Whilst Ash chose to stay, Jake chose to leave admitting he doesn't trust his wife after she told the other brides about his comments during the photo ranking task. As per the rules, with one deciding to stay, the pair continued in the experiment. Despite going back to their apartment following the commitment ceremony, Jake broke the rules and decided to leave the experiment. Packing his bags the following morning, Ashleigh was therefore also forced to leave.

Katie and Tim - LEFT

The experts matched 37-year-old Katie with 38-year-old Tim.

Wedding day:
Whilst Katie seemed to be happy, the same couldn't be said for Tim, admitting to producers he wasn't happy with his match. After a very awkward wedding reception, Tim later admitted to Katie that he had no initial attraction to her, leaving her in tears.

Honeymoon:
Things went from bad to worse during the honeymoon, when Tim once again confessed to Katie she wasn't the type he asked for, saying to her he usually goes for 'petite, blonde and short girls'. Despite the rejection, Katie continued to try and get to know her husband more, asking him questions and making conversation, but this wasn't reciprocated.

First commitment ceremony:
Following a disastrous experiment, both Katie and Tim chose to leave.

Lauren and Eliot - LEFT

37-year-old Lauren was matched with 35-year-old Eliot.

Wedding day:
Despite Eliot admitting to the camera he would walk out of the ceremony if he didn't find his bride attractive, luckily for Lauren he was pleased with the match. The pair seemed to get on well, and despite Lauren's sister Tamara causing problems throughout the wedding reception, Lauren and Eliot seemed to have an initial spark.

Honeymoon:
The day after the wedding, Eliot seemed to have a full change of heart and continued to slam the experts for giving him a bride who didn't match what he asked for. Eliot refused to take part in the experiment and decided to leave the show, leaving Lauren behind.

Meanwhile, despite Jacqui making Beth and Teejay's wedding day all about her, it did seem like the pair were a good match, so we can't wait to see how they get along in the rest of the experiment.
