How long did it last?

The All Stars series was slightly shorter than usual, only airing for five weeks in total.

What channel was it on?

The All Stars series aired on ITV2/STV2 and ITVX and STV Player, but the opening episode also aired on ITV1/STV1.

All episodes are now available to watch on ITVX and STV Player now.

Who else was rumoured to take part?

Although they didn't end up taking part, a lot of former Islanders were rumoured, including Chloe Burrows, Chris Hughes, and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Jon Clark - Series 1

Essex born Jon appeared on the first ever series of Love Island back in 2015, entering the villa on Day One and making it all the way to the final. Jon was coupled up with Hannah Elizabeth throughout the series, with the pair finishing the show as runners-up, but they split nine months later.

Although Jon went on to appear on TOWIE and date the likes of Chloe Crowhurst and Chloe Ferry, it looks like he's now single.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu - Series 8

Following her split from Love Island boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti at the end of January 2024, fans are now begging bosses to fly Ekin-Su over to the All Stars villa to become the ultimate bombshell.

Kady McDermott - Series 2 and 10

Kady McDermott was one of the most popular Islanders from series two in 2016, so popular that bosses decided to bring her back for series 10 in 2023! After Kady split from series 10 co-star Ouzy See just weeks after leaving the villa, could she return for a third stint?!

Scott Thomas - Series 2

If Kady was to return, we are sure fans would like to see her reunite with former flame Scott Thomas! Scott entered the Love Island villa during series two on Day One, before making it all the way to final and finishing in third place alongside Kady.

Although Scott and Kady moved in together after the show, the pair split in August 2017, with both going on to date other people. However, now it looks like they are both single, could a reunion be on the cards?!

Chris Hughes - Series 3

Chris Hughes was one of the stand-out Islanders during the third series in 2017, with his hilarious personality and of course, his raps. After entering the villa on Day Four, Chris coupled up with Olivia Attwood, with the pair making it to the final and finishing in third place.

As fans will know, Chris and Olivia split just months after leaving the show, with Olivia going back to her ex-boyfriend Bradley Dack, whom she is now married to. Meanwhile, although Chris has dated a number of women including Little Mix star Jesy Nelson and golfer Annabel Dimmock, it appears he is now back on the market.

Kem Cetinay - Series 3

Of course, if Chris was to return to the show, it wouldn't be right for him to enter without Love Island BFF Kem Cetinay. Although the boys aren't as close as they once were, Chris and Kem are just what the All Stars series needs!

Jack Fincham - Series 4

Essex boy Jack stole the hearts of the nation alongside fellow Islander Dani Dyer during series four! After coupling up together on Day One, the pair went all the way and won the show, before announcing their split in April 2019.

Despite Jack now being a proud dad to his daughter, he's currently single, so could he make a return to find love once again?

Kaz Crossley - Series 4

Despite being a Casa Amor bombshell, Kaz Crossley certainly brought the drama to series four, coupling up with Josh Denzel and finishing in third place. After realising they weren't meant to be, the pair announced their split after six months together.

Although Kaz went on to date other men, it looks like the model is currently single.

Ovie Soko - Series 5

You can't have a Love Island All Stars without the legend that is Ovie Soko surely?! Although he entered series five at the half-way stage during Casa Amor, Ovie quickly became a fan favourite with his 'cool guy' personality. Ovie coupled up with India Reynolds, with the pair going on to finish in third place.

Ovie and India split just months later in October 2019, and it appears the basketball player is still single.

Anna Vakili - Series 5

Another Islander we'd love to see return from series five is Anna Vakili! After entering in 2019 on Day One, Anna coupled up with the likes of Sherif Lanre, Ovie Soko and Jordan Hames, and who can forget THAT Casa Amor drama between her and Jordan?!

Speaking on the red carpet at the 2023 National Television Awards, Anna kept tight-lipped about whether she will be returning for the All-Stars series, but we'd certainly love to see her back.

Shaughna Phillips - Series 6

Shaughna Phillips was an original Islander for the first ever Winter Love Island in 2020, entering on Day One and coupling up with Callum Jones. However, after bombshell Molly Smith entered during Casa Amor, Shaughna was left single and dumped from the villa.

Shaughna welcomed her first child into the world earlier in 2023, but during an interview on the red carpet at the National Television Awards in September, it sounded like she was full up for returning to the show, even admitting she'd like to couple up with Jack Fincham!

Chloe Burrows - Series 7

Chloe Burrows has become one of the most successful stars from the seventh series, going on to appear on various TV shows and landing podcast and TV show Chloe vs The World.

However, despite her career success, Chloe is currently single following her split from Love Island co-star Toby Aromolaran, so could she sign up for a return to the villa?

Teddy Soares - Series 7

After entering the series seven villa as a bombshell on Day 12, Teddy Soares stole the heart of Faye Winters, with the pair making it to the final and finishing in third place.

After almost two years of dating, the pair split earlier in 2023, so will Teddy attempt to find love again during the All Stars series?

Paige Thorne - Series 8

Paramedic Paige Thorne certainly had a dramatic stint in the villa during series 8, coupling up with Jacques O'Neill, Jay Younger and returning Islander Adam Collard. After leaving the show with Adam as her boyfriend, the pair later split when she accused the Geordie lad of 'cheating' on her.

Despite some reports that she'd reconnected with Jacques following the split, Paige is single, with many fans urging her to return to the All Stars series.

Jacques O'Neill - Series 8

Many Love Island fans are also keen to see rugby player Jacques O'Neill take part in the All Stars version, after he made the tough decision to quit the show in 2022 following the break down of his relationship with Paige.

Luca Bish - Series 8

Fishmonger Luca Bish was certainly a marmite Islander with viewers in the early stages, but after declaring his love for Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen, the pair went on to finish the series in second place!

Things seemed to be going well back in the UK for the pair, but a few months later the pair announced their split. Now that Gemma reportedly has a new boyfriend, we'd love to see Luca return.

Olivia Hawkins - Series 9

After causing serious drama during the 2023 Winter series, Olivia Hawkins eventually left the show with Casa Amor bombshell Maxwell Samuda, with the pair calling quits on their romance not long after returning to the UK.

Olivia has since stated how much of a fan of the show she is, landing a magazine column for series 10, so will she make a comeback for the All Stars series?

Scott van-der-Sluis - Series 10

Where do we even start with Scott van-der-Sluis?! Following his disastrous stint on series 10 in the Summer of 2023, Scott barely even landed back in the UK before he'd flown over to America to appear as a bombshell on the US version.

It didn't work out in America for Scott either, with him being dumped just days later. Now he has the Love Island bug, can he make it third time lucky?

Will there still be a Winter series?

The All Stars series replaced Winter Love Island and featured some of the show's most iconic Islanders from the last 10 series.

Martin Oxley, Head of Formats and Entertainment at GroupM Motion Entertainment, said of the new series: "Motion is proud of its long partnership with Love Island, and can think of no better way to celebrate this milestone alongside Lifted and ITV than going on a date with our most-loved and longed-for Islanders."

Who hosted the show?

Just like the main show, Maya Jama was back to host the All Stars version. Maya featured in the first promotional trailer which was released in December 2024 and she entered the villa on a number of occasions throughout the series.

Has Casa Amor been axed?

Despite being one of the highlights of the series over the last seven years, unfortunately it it was confirmed that Casa Amor wouldn't feature in the All Stars series.

Love Island’s Executive Producer Mike Spencer told The Mirror: “Casa Amor, as we know and love it, doesn’t really work for a five week run because you need time to bed in, get to know each other, see if they are for you and if you want to switch it up.

"I think you don’t need the element of bringing a massive influx of new islanders in. That is good for an eight week run but you don’t need it for this. This is going to be more intense and people will fall for each other quicker."
