Hollyoaks spoilers: Damon Kinsella discovers Maxine Minniver's secret
Monday 8th - Friday 12th April
There's an emotional week in store for the residents in Hollyoaks.
Maxine Minniver's secret about her "mysterious illness" that doesn't actually exist is exposed, Grace Black and Mercedes McQueen continue to row and Juliet Quinn plays to reveal all to Darren Osborne.
Also the McQueen and Hutchinson families are in for a tragedy when Lily McQueen dies.
The troubled teenager continues to struggle with her mental health and when it dawns on her just how far she's spiralled out of control, she admits herself into a mental health ward.
However it's clear that she's still battling with her health and it's not long before she plans to run away with Romeo Quinn. Unbeknownst to them, she's contracted sepsis and as things spiral out of control it's not long before her health deteriorates...
The week begins with Maxine ringing Damon Kinsella and pretending she's fallen over.
Later, while Damon and Liberty Savage are out they overhears Maxine confessing she's not actually sick on Minnie's parrot toy.
How will they react?
Over to Lily McQueen and her week gets off to a rough start when she realises she hasn't prepared for her presentation.
Courtney Campbell tries to encourage Lily to talk but she can't and when the students start laughing, she breaks down.
Later when the students are dismissed, Courtney grabs Lily's arm and discovers her new scars and instantly calls Diane and Tony Hutchinson for help. Everyone is relieved when Lily admits she wants helps and she admits herself into a mental health ward.
Elsewhere James Nightingale is hell bent on discovering who really killed Mac Nightingale. It dawns on him that whoever killed Mac must have poisoned him too.
Breda McQueen overhears his plan to find the killer and decides to plant the vial of poison in the coat hanging on James' chair – unfortunately she got the coats mixed up and she actually put it in Romeo Quinn's jacket.
When the police arrive and do a search they find the vial in Romeo's pocket…
Back to Lily, and the teenager, who is recovering in hospital, is sharing a room with another girl Imogen. Peri Lomax and Yazz decide to put their differences aside and go to visit their friend in hospital.
Prince McQueen finds out about Lily's relapse from the pair and is determined to visit his estranged wife.
Romeo is out on bail and with all the evidence pointed towards him for Mac murder, James tells him he needs to leave the country. Juliet is devastated when she sees him leaving and knows the only way she can make him stay in the village is if she tells him Lily is in hospital…
Lily can't stop hearing a buzzing from the light and when she stands on her bed and starts banging it, Imogen tries to calm her down.
Things take a turn for the worse when Romeo arrives and tells her he's leaving the village – Lily is devastated.
As Romeo goes to leave the hospital, Lily is quick to tell him she wants to run away with him.
Diane gets a call from the hospital and discovers Lily has left. She then rushes over to James' flat eager to find Romeo.
Diane then rushes over to The Dog to see if Prince has heard anything from Romeo or Lily and he's furious to discover that they've both run away.
Over at the hospital, a doctor tells Farrah Maalik that Lily's blood test results are back and her wounds are infected – she's contracted sepsis.
During a special episode on Thursday 11, viewers will see flashback memories of a younger Lily with her mum and the teenager today. While Romeo and Lily are waiting for the train, Diane, Prince and Tony desperately try to track her down.
During a flashback to 2006, Lily almost burns her hand and her mum says it breaks her heart to see her hurt…
Back in the present day, Diane is left horrified when Farrah reveals Lily has sepsis and it's spreading to her organs. When Peri and Yazz discover how ill Lily is, they're quick to tell Diane where she is but it's too late.
At the end of the week, the residents are grief stricken following Lily's death.
Elsewhere, Mercedes McQueen asks Scott Drinkwell to perform as drag Grace again but Grace tells him it's Mercedes turn. Later on Scott dresses as both of the women – how will they react?
Juliet Quinn decides she will finally tell Darren Osborne her feeling towards him. Will she go through with it? And how will Darren react?
Before any of that happens, here's everything that will happen on Hollyoaks this week...
It all begins with Sienna Blake and Laurie Shelby heading off on a school camping trip. However things take a turn for the worse when Laurie tricks Sienna into sharing a tent together.
Back in the village, Sinead O'Connor continues to feel lonely as Laurie keeps shutting her out and ends up kissing Sami Maalik.
Maxine Minniver's "health scare" continues to spiral and Breda McQueen and Mercedes continue to be at odds.
