The Great British Bake Off has been a staple in British culture since it first hit our TV screens in 2010, and despite a channel and presenter switch in 2017, the popular culinary show is still going strong, with the 2021 series ending on Tuesday 21st September.

After Bake Off veteran Paul Hollywood teased the show's return in July, fans across the country have been loving the series for 10 weeks, witnessing those soggy bottoms and Hollywood handshakes every Tuesday night.

As the final took place on Tuesday 23rd November, here's everything you need to know about The Great British Bake Off.

Who won Bake Off?

After a tense final, it was 45-year-old Giuseppe Dell'Anno who was crowned the 2021 winner of The Great British Bake Off.

Giuseppe said: "There are no words, I am speechless for once. All I can think of is the reaction from my mum and dad. The fact is that everything I have done to deserve this comes from his heritage, it’s the best thank you note I can possibly send him. He is going through a very bad time health wise, so I think this is going to be a great boost. I don’t say often or lightly that I am proud of what I do, but in this case I am really proud of what I have done. It’s unbelievable!"

Who was in the Bake Off final?
