After months of sneaking around behind Priya Sharma's back as he conducted a secret affair - despite proposing to her, natch – Al Chapman's other woman was finally exposed and revealed to be none other than Debbie Dingle.
But now Debbie is back in town, Al is about to get his comeuppance when the two women join forces to catch him out in the best way.
And Debbie certainly isn't about to let his misdeed go unpunished when she sets about forcing him out of the village.
Struggling with her mental health, Harriet Finch is convinced she's about to lose her job and tells new vicar Charles that she's hanging up her dog collar before he can fire her.
Meanwhile, Manpreet Sharma is caught off guard when she spots Charles in the village and soon it becomes clear that there's a VERY sinister history between them.

After Debbie Dingle was revealed to be Al's mysterious 'other woman', she catches him off guard when she suggests they get married.
Al agrees, but it soon becomes clear he's been set up when Priya arrives on the scene and the two women confront him together.
His love life in bits, things go from bad to worse when Al stops by the Hop offices and is accused by Kim of pilfering thousands from the business account.
Marlon is worried about how Ellis will react to his dad being in trouble again and implores Al not to let his relationship go without a fight.
But despite wanting to support Ellis, Marlon is conflicted when Debbie wants him to fight her corner in running Al out of town.
Elsewhere, a troubled Luke is still trying to convince newcomer Ethan that he's not gay, but Ethan is unconvinced and continues to put the moves on him.
The next day, Luke and Victoria run into Ethan in the street and Luke quickly dials up the public displays of affection for Victoria.
A baffled Victoria is pleased for the extra attention but is none the wiser to the fact that Luke is overcompensating for Ethan's accusations.
Now that Debbie is back in town to keep a close eye on Sarah, it isn't long before Debbie's convinced Sarah is seeing Danny again.
A sulky Sarah refuses to divulge anything to her meddling mother and later on Charity has an important message that she hopes will help.
Charles calls a meeting with Harriet and explains that he's going to see the bishop in the week and Harriet is convinced she's losing her job.
Despite Charles' protests, Harriet concedes that she's tired of letting her parishioners down and will be stepping away from the church for good.
After hearing the news that Harriet's quit her job, Moira calls at the church and tells Charles that Harriet isn't in her right mind at the moment.
As Moira stresses that Harriet isn't able to make big decisions at the moment and implores him not to let her go without a fight, will he take heed?
Manpreet is in for a shock when, walking in the village, catches site of Charles in his dog collar and it's clear she's thrown by the encounter.
Arriving at work a flustered Manpreet wants to know who the newbie in town is and Rishi explains that Charles is the new bishop, leaving Manpreet spooked.
Feigning a sudden illness, Manpreet makes her excuses and leaves, heading straight to track down Charles at the church.
Charles is still recovering from the encounter when Manpreet shows up and it's clear there's a history between them when he addresses her as 'Saira'.
Admitting he thought she was dead, Charles is torn when Manpreet begs him not to tell anyone about their secret past - what is she hiding?
Elsewhere, Dawn is devastated to receive a call from social services telling her that Lucas has said he doesn't want to come home.
At the café, an unsuspecting Jimmy is caught off guard when a visitor arrives to see him.
He's stunned when it turns out that Carl's mother, Juliette, has arrived out of the blue.
