EastEnders viewers in hysterics after Stuart Highway's awkward gaffe
Oh dear

EastEnders fans are not the biggest fans of Stuart Highway - and no wonder, considering his pretty awful behaviour of late. Not only has he been terrorising Tina Carter, but he's also got Mick Carter thrown in jail AND sent rumours around the prison that Mick is inside for being a paedophile.
Not a nice bloke, really. But fans noticed a spot of comic relief in what was a rather intense scene during last night's episode (2nd October).
Slippery Stuart received a phone call from a friend who told him about an argument Mick had had with his wife Linda after she'd visited him in prison, showing how Linda was beginning to doubt her husband - and that she thinks she DID shoot Stuart after all.
Obviously, this was great news for Stuart, who looked pretty happy with himself after the phone call - but there was something amiss after Stuart ended the call that eagle-eyed fans spotted.

But Ruby then tells Stacey that when she woke up, Matt was on top of her, not Ross. Ruby blames herself for being drunk, but best friend Stacey comforts her and insists she did nothing wrong. Stacey tells Ruby she was raped.

As soon as Stuart ended the phone call, he flipped the phone over in his hand - but fans noticed that this meant the camera was facing towards him, which could only mean he'd been on the phone upside the ENTIRE TIME.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their observation, with one exclaiming, 'The phone was upside down!' as another wrote, 'Um Stuart's phone was upside down?' and one other said, 'The phone's upside down AGAIN!'
In other Walford news, poor Ruby Allen will turn to her friend Stacey Slater for help after waking up next to a man she met on a night out without any memory of the night.
