When British teenager Courtney Hadwin auditioned for America's Got Talent recently she admitted she suffered from nerves right from the start, however it clearly didn't show as she went straight through to the semi-finals after getting a Golden Buzzer!

Courtney, who is from Hartlepool, stunned judges when she belted out Otis Reddingā€™s 'Hard to Handle'. She quickly had both the judges and audience captivated by her amazing voice and performance. After her fantastic performance Simon Cowell said, ā€œYou were this shy little thing when you came out. Then you sing and youā€™re like a lion. I mean, genuinely incredible.ā€

Fellow judge Howie Mandel then told Courtney she wasn't 'from this era', before explaining the story how Janis Joplin was first signed. Howie then went on to say, "I'm Howie Mandel and I can't sign you to a record deal, the only thing I can do for you young lady is give you..." before leaning over the other judges to hit the Golden Buzzer.
