Everything to know about Niall Horan's 2nd album 'Heartbreak Weather' 🌦️

Niall Horan released his second solo album 'Heartbreak Weather' back in Mach 2020, and to celebrate the album's fifth anniversary he released a special edition, featuring additional songs, and live versions.

When was it released?

'Heartbreak Weather' was released on 13th March 2020 and went straight to Number 1 here in the UK.

Anniversary edition

The singer took to Instagram to share the exciting news telling his fans: 'To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Heartbreak Weather’s release, a special edition of the album with bonus tracks “Dress” and “Nothing,” along with live versions of several songs from the album, will be released digitally this Friday. Pre-orders for the physical editions, including a special limited edition deluxe vinyl with an additional live track, are now available from the link in my bio.

'Heartbreak Weather' was originally released on 13th March 2020, just before the UK went into its first national lockdown, and the singer told us at the time: "The timing of the release of an album I've spent a year and a half working on, is probably the worst ever. In terms of releases and timings, it’s been very frustrating with everything being cancelled."

Despite the lockdown, Niall's album went on to be a Number 1 in the UK, and it spawned several successful songs including 'Nice to Meet Ya', and 'No Judgement'.

Since the release of 'Heartbreak Weather', Niall has released his 2023 album 'The Show', featuring songs such as 'Heaven' and 'Meltdown'.

Physical versions

In August 2025, Niall released the physical versions of the anniversary edition, showing fans what they can now buy in a social media video. Opening the new physical versions, Niall excitedly told fans: "This is the first time I've actually seen them in real life. Here we have a new CD of 'Heartbreak Weather', and it's got 'Dress' on it, which you'll be happy to know."

The album was released digitally on 28th March 2025, a CD version of the album was released on 15th August.
