JADE shares sweet text from her dad following her BRIT Award nominations
The singer also shared a cute throwback pic

She's a force to be reckoned with solo hits like 'Angel of My Dreams' and 'IT Girl', but JADE has now revealed a sweet message she received from her dad, following her BRIT Award nominations this year.
The singer, who was part of Little Mix for more than 10 years, released her first solo music last year, giving her two BRIT nominations for the upcoming awards on Saturday 1st March. JADE has now given fans a little insight into a WhatsApp conversation she had with her dad following the announcement she'd received two nods, and it's super cute!
The singer shared a screenshot as part of a series of photos, which also includes an adorable throwback school photo from 2000, and a more recent studio shot.
In response to JADE's message saying she's been nominated for two BRIT Awards, her dad writes: 'Yeah brilliant princess just seen on my phone , you are really good at what you do you know well done, and thanks for getting me a phone my phone just keeps going off xxx'. (sic)
In a later message he then writes: 'So proud of you princess xxx'. 🥰
JADE captioned her post: '“you are really good at what you do you know” - Jimmy Thirlwall'. After sharing this sweet message from her dad, fans have been leaving comments such as: 'No it’s too cute. 💕💕', and 'your dad so cute and proud of his princess 😭😭 crying'.
Another fan wrote: 'Your dad is spilling facts right there ✨'.
Other fans have been leaving messages confirming they will be voting for JADE at this year's BRITs. JADE's debut solo hit 'Angel of My Dreams' has been nominated for Song of The Year with Mastercard, while the singer herself has been nominated for Pop Act.
