Meghan Trainor has well and truly pulled on our heartstrings over the last couple of years, sharing super cute pictures and videos of herself, and husband Daryl Sabara, with their ADORABLE son Riley. Then, in January 2023, the 'Made You Look' singer announced that she is expecting her second baby!
And now, Meghan has delighted fans by revealing that she is expecting another baby boy! With the help of a video-message from their son Riley, the news was announced on The Kelly Clarkson Show as Meghan and Daryl made a guest appearance.
In the cute clip, Riley throws his hands in the air as he exclaims: "It's a boy!"
Elated at the news that the pair have another boy on the way, fans took to the Instagram comments to share the love. One wrote: 'RILEY #2 MY HEART IS GONNA EXPLODE' (sic), with another adding: 'So excited!!! Congratulations!!'. (sic)
And that wasn't the only exciting revelation in the clip, with Kelly admitting to Daryl that her kids are huge fans of Spy Kids! If you hadn't twigged by now, Daryl starred as none other than Juni Cortez in the 2001 hit film, as well as the following sequels.
Gushing over her children's love for the film, Meghan laughs: "We'll FaceTime whenever!"
After sharing a cryptic post in January, showing Meg's family and close friends celebrating some exciting news, the singer later confirmed she's expecting her second baby!
Taking to Instagram, the 'Dear Future Husband' singer told her fans: 'BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER @darylsabara 🥹🥰'.
Quickly gaining over two million likes on her post, Meghan's celebrity friends and fans sent their messages of congratulations, with Clean Bandit writing: '🥰 congrats Meghan', and Nicole Scherzinger commenting: 'Omg whaaaaat!?!?!!!👀🤸🏾♀️🙌🏽'. (sic)
Meanwhile Kris Jenner wrote: 'Congratulations beauty!!! I’m so excited for you!!!!!! What a blessing ❤️🙏😍'.
Following her announcement pic, Meghan also shared a TV moment from the American TV show Today, where she joined the presenters to talk about her new book, Dear Future Mama.
She told the presenters: "This is a big goal of mine, when I was pregnant I felt very alone. It was also like Covid times, so I didn't have any friends that were pregnant with me, and I just remember being like, 'I don't want anyone else to feel like that', so now I can be your future bestie, and I can help you and tell you all my TMI details of my pregnancy."
She then just dropped into the conversation that she was expecting baby number two, watch the moment below.
Meghan has yet to announce exactly when the baby is due, but we can expect the couple's second baby boy to arrive in the summer!
