Lewis Capaldi breaks silence over ex Paige Turley's Love Island appearance

It didn't take Love Island star Paige Turley long to mention the fact she is Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi's ex-girlfriend, in fact, we think she's mentioned it at least once every night on the new series. 🙈
Lewis has so far kept his silence on seeing his ex trying to find love on the popular show... until now!
Responding in the way only Lewis could, the 'Someone You Loved' singer has joked he would like a cut of the money if Paige goes on to win series 6!
Speaking on a show in New Zealand called The Edge, Lewis joked, "The prize is like £50,000 and I'll be like 'Well, listen. They asked you to go on it right I'm not saying I'm the reason but also… slide me two grand'."
He then added, "She never told me she was going on it. That would have been a nice heads up. But fair play and good luck to her."
And it sounds like there's no hard feeling between the pair, with Lewis wanting his ex to go on to win the show. He said, "I'll be f---ing watching it - like go on Paige, come on. When she's on a date with a boy I'll be like come on kiss him. I hope she wins."

Paige, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent back in 2012, first revealed she'd dated the legendary singer during her chat with producers before she entered the villa.
When asked what her 'claim to fame' is, Paige said, "Lewis Capaldi is my ex boyfriend. We went out when we were younger, I was about 17 or 18."
Admitting the pair are still mates, Paige added, "We were together for about a year. It ended really amicably and we’re still pals."
Meanwhile, viewers saw Paige get a little angry with fellow Islander Ollie Williams during last night's show, when she found out from Siânnise Fudge he'd been trying to 'crack on' with her, despite telling Paige he hadn't.
Despite Ollie admitting he's going to continue things with Paige, it was revealed yesterday that he's now decided to quit the villa, admitting he's still in love with his ex-girlfriend.
