After months of rumours, the BBC finally confirmed The Claudia Winkleman Show at the end of 2025, a brand new chat show hosted by The Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman.

Produced by the company behind The Graham Norton Show, the series, which first started in March this year, saw Claudia welcome a whole host of famous guests from the worlds of film, television, music and beyond to her sofa for lively conversation, with the help of a studio audience.

However, after just one series, Claudia has made the decision to step down from the show, admitting she was 'too nervous' to enjoy it.

She said: "Sometimes you have to try something to see how it fits, and I realised I was just too nervous to enjoy it. Maybe one day I will give it another try, but for now I already have the best jobs in the world and absolutely love the shows I’m doing. I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for giving me the opportunity, to the guests who agreed to come and chat to me, and the production team who were simply excellent."
