Omagh: van driver dies following road crash
The PSNI is appealing for information after the 56-year-old man's vehicle was in a collision with a car in December
A 56-year-old van driver has died from injuries sustained in a crash in Omagh last month.
He was Sean McGaughey, who was from the Omagh area.
His van had been in a collision involving a car on the Drumnakilly Road area on the evening of December 22.
Police and paramedics attended and two men were taken to hospital.
Inspector Cherith Adair from the PSNI collision investigation unit said: "Very sadly Mr McGaughey, who was the driver of the van, later died in hospital from his injuries.
"An investigation to establish the circumstances is ongoing, and the collision investigation unit is appealing to anyone who may have any information which may assist, or who may have been travelling in the area at the time and captured any dashcam or mobile phone footage, to get in touch."
