"Covid finally caught me" says Eamonn Holmes

Eamonn Holmes has revealed he's caught covid.

In a post on Twitter the Northern Irish TV presenter said he's double jabbed and "coping with the symptoms and effects well".

The 61 year updated his 1 million followers this morning saying, “Covid finally caught me.”

“Thankfully I'm Double jabbed. More than half-way through my isolation and coping with the symptoms and effects well.”

He added, “Unfortunately I'm going to be a No Show for some Professional & Personal events. Just want to let everyone know why & offer my apologies”

It’s not the first time the star’s opened up about his health; earlier this year he revealed he’s been battling chronic pain and has had shingles.
