Finaghy train station alert ends after suspicious object found
A number of homes in the Finaghy Road North area had been evacuated

Police have said the security alert at Finaghy train station, Finaghy Road North following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area, has now ended.
Chief Inspector Hagan said: “Police received a report of a suspicious object at 11.40am today (Tuesday 29th March). The object was made safe by ammunition technical officers and has since been taken away for further forensic examinations.
“A number of residents who were evacuated from their homes, have now returned and we would like to thank those affected by this alert for their patience.
"The road has now fully re-opened."
