Simple Minds celebrate 40 iconic years in music by embarking upon a major world tour including Belfast's Custom House Square on Tuesday.

One of the UK's most successful bands, having achieved six No.1 albums in the UK.

We can't wait to hear hits such as Don't You, Alive and Kicking and Belfast Child in such an iconic space - Custom House Square.

We've put together a handy guide for those heading down to the gig tonight, check it out.

What time do gates open for CHSq 2022?

Gates open at 6pm so please do arrive on site until close to that time.

Last entry is at 9.45pm and the curfew is typically around 11pm.

Where can you park at CHSq 2022?

Organisers are advising those attending the gigs to use public transport as there are NO parking facilities at the site.

Custom House Square is in the heart of Belfast city centre, just beside the Albert Clock and 'Big Fish,' so there's a variety of public transport options available.

Are there still tickets available for Simple Minds tonight?

Yes, there a limited amount of tickets available for Simple Minds via ticketmaster.ie

Who will be supporting Simple Minds in Belfast?

Silent Running will be warming up the Belfast crowd ahead of Simple Minds tonight at CHSq.

Is there food and drink available at CHSq?

There are a number of food and drinks stations on site, so there will be plenty to tuck into throughout the night.

Tuesday will see a sunny start with some patchy cloud in a few places. Skies will largely clear in the afternoon leaving lengthy spells of sunshine for all. A warm, dry day.

Paolo Nutini - Thursday 25th August - SOLD OUT

Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini will his return to Belfast with a headline show at Custom House Square on Thursday 25th August 2022.
The "Pencil Full of Lead" performer has been certified five-times platinum by the BPI and was the eighth-biggest-selling album in the UK in 2009.

Ryan McMullan - Saturday 27th August

Following a string of sold out Belfast shows, the Portaferry singer-songwriter has played two sold out Ormeau Park, Belsonic shows alongside Dermot Kennedy, two nights at the Waterfront Hall and completed a sell-out Irish Tour.
Now 32, McMullan may have spent his first few years playing catch-up, but admits that "music was always going to be a part of my life." Having toured worldwide with some of the most well known artists such as Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, Kodaline and Foy Vance, Ryan quickly understood the assignment and has since went on to have world tours of his own.
To top it all off Ryan is due to play his 2nd CHSQ show in Belfast on the 27th of August this year.
