US stand-up comedian & actor Bill Burr is coming to Belfast this weekend

Bill Burr, the American comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster known for his sharp wit and observational humour, is coming to Belfast.

Bill will star alongside Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison and Jeremy Strong in Aaron Sorkin’s film, The Social Reckoning,premiering in theatres on October 9, 2026. And in the fall, Bill will shoot his film, Born Losers, which he will co-write, produce and star in.

Bill’s eighth hour-long stand-up special, Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years, was nominated for two Emmy Awards and premiered on Hulu on March 14, 2025. The streaming album, Drop Dead Years, was released on August 1 and earned Bill his second Grammy nomination.

Bill received rave reviews in his Broadway debut starring alongside Kieran Culkin and Bob Odenkirk in David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross, which ran from March through June, 2025.

As an actor, Burr has appeared in several notable television series and films, including the TV show Breaking Bad and the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. He also co-created and voiced the lead character in the animated Netflix series F Is for Family.

Bill hosted SNL for the second time on the Nov 9, he wowed critics and fans with dramatic TV roles including his scene-stealing, fan-favorite role as Migs Mayfeld in The Mandalorian; Coach Bobson in the hit FX on Hulu series, Reservation Dogs; and Saul Goodman’s henchman, Kuby, on Breaking Bad.

Bill hosts the groundbreaking Monday Morning Podcast, in 2023 he was the first comedian to perform at the 5,000-seat ancient Roman amphitheater, The Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, Greece, and in 2022 he made history as the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park.
