Becky Hill at Belsonic 2024: Everything You Need To Know

Following a sold out CHSQ earlier this year, the two-time Brit-award winning singer-songwriter Becky Hill has announced her biggest Belfast headline show to date at Belsonic, Ormeau Park with very special guest Jazzy.
Cementing her reputation as the Queen of Dance music, Becky Hill's Top 10 debut album Only Honest On The Weekend, saw her score five Official Chart Top 40 singles and bring her BPI certification total to 9 x platinum, 4 x gold and 1 x silver.
Get ready to dance the night away with the artists multitude of dance hits including ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’, Gecko’,’ Disconnect’ and ‘Lose Control’.

Is there an opening act?
The Irish dance-pop singer-songwriter Jazzy will be opening for Becky Hill, warming up the crowd with hit songs such as ‘Giving Me’ ‘ Make Me Feel Good’ and ‘Shooting Star’
What time do gates open?
Gates open at 6pm with Curfew usually around 11pm. Set times will be posted on social media on the day of the event so keep posted across each of our social platforms for your up-to-date information.
Where can you park?
Those attending the concert are advised to use public transport as there are NO PARKING facilities on site.

There is a number of food stalls and drink outlets across the site at Ormeau Park.
Most vendors take card payment only.
You are not permitted to bring your own food or drinks inside the park.

2012: The Voice
Becky Hill took part in The Voice in 2012, and working with Jessie J she made it to the semi-finals! Although she didn't win the show, this helped start her career and she became the first contestant to get a Number 1 UK single.
2014: Debut single - 'Gecko (Overdrive)'
'Gecko (Overdrive)' was Becky Hill's debut single, which she released with Oliver Heldens in 2014. The song got to Number 1 in the UK Charts and kicked off her incredible career.
2017: ASCAP London Music Awards
Becky Hill got her first ASCAP London Music Award in 2017 for the song 'False Alarm' with Matoma. Her song 'Lose Control', which she released with Meduza, Goodboys and Conor Blake Manning, then won the award for Winning Hot Dance/Electronic Song Award at the 2021 ASCAP London Music Awards!
2019: 'Get To Know' album
'Get To Know' was Becky Hill's debut compilation album, made up of amazing tunes including 'I Could Get Used To This' with Weiss and 'Find A Place' with MNEK. It was released in September 2019.
Also in 2019, Becky teamed up with DJ Sigala to create 'Wish You Well' in 2019 and in 2020 they teamed up again with MNEK to release 'Heaven On My Mind'.
2021: 'Only Honest On The Weekend' album
In 2021, Becky Hill released her debut studio album 'Only Honest On The Weekend', which includes amazing dance floor fillers like 'My Heart Goes (La Di Da)' and 'Heaven On My Mind' with Sigala and has since gone on to be certified Platinum. The record also features 'Remember' with David Guetta, which got to Number 3 in the UK charts and was nominated for Song of the Year at the BRIT Awards.
Also that year, the film adaptation of the musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie used Becky Hill's song 'Everything' in the movie soundtrack which also featured hits by Chaka Khan, Todrick Hall and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
2022: Winning her first BRIT Award
After being nominated for two awards, Becky Hill took home the award for Best Dance Act at the 2022 BRIT Awards in February. She gave an emotional speech thanking fans and saying that she was "heart-warmed" by the result.
2022 also saw the release of Becky's songs 'Run' with Galantis, 'Here For You' with Wilkinson - their second collab after 'Afterglow' in 2013, and 'Crazy What Love Can Do' with Ella Henderson and David Guetta. She also performed at the Women's Euro 2022 final on 31st July 2022, where the England team won. Becky performed a medley of her songs including 'Remember' and 'My Heart Goes (La Di Da)'.
2023: Nominated at the BRIT Awards 2023
Becky was nominated for the second year running in the Dance category at the BRIT Awards 2023! The awards ceremony, which took place on 11th February, saw Becky go up against Bonobo, Calvin Harris, Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal and Fred Again... in the category which she won last year. In amazing news for Becky, she won the award!
Becky was clearly emotional about winning her second BRIT Award and said in her acceptance speech: "The biggest thanks of all has to go to my fans who for another year have helped me win a BRIT Award and imposter syndrome kicked straight in when the nominees were announced. I was so scared and when I read all their comments I was so touched, so thank you so much. Thank you!"
Becky also joined Jason Derulo on BBC Three's Project Icon, which saw 10 unsigned artists attempt to make it in the music business. She also took to The Other Stage at Glastonbury in 2023, and announced her first arena tour.
2024: Second album 'Believe Me Now?'
Becky Hill released her second album 'Believe Me Now?' on 31st May 2024. It features 15 songs, including her hits 'Disconnect', 'Side Effects' and 'Outside of Love'. The album went to Number 3 in the chart and has since been certified Gold in the UK.
2025: Becky nominated for Dance Act at the BRITs
In January 2025, Becky was announced as one of the nominees in the BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard. She was up against Charli XCX, Chase & Status, Fred again.. and Nia Archives in the Dance Act promoted by KISS category. Charli XCX was announced as the winner at The BRIT Awards ceremony on 1st March.

Oliver Heldens & Becky Hill - 'Gecko (Overdrive)'
'Gecko (Overdrive)' was Becky Hill's debut single released in 2014, with Oliver Heldens. The song was a remix of the Dutch DJ's song 'Gecko', featuring Becky's vocals. The catchy track went to Number 1 in the UK and was a hit in clubs up and down the country in the summer of 2014 and beyond. To date the music video has had more than 32 million views on YouTube!

MK & Becky Hill - 'Piece Of Me'
In 2016, Becky Hill teamed up with MK on 'Piece Of Me'. The song was popular in the UK dance charts, reaching Number 13 and receiving more than 49 million views on YouTube.

Matoma & Becky Hill - 'False Alarm'
Also in 2016, Becky Hill joined forces with tropical house DJ, Matoma. 'False Alarm' was written by Becky along with a team of songwriters.

MK, Jonas Blue, Becky Hill - 'Back & Forth'
In 2018, released another collaboration with MK, this time bringing Jonas Blue on board too. 'Back & Forth'. The hit song was written by the three artists along with Mike Kintish and reached Number 12 in the UK.

Sigala & Becky Hill - 'Wish You Well'
The big tune of 2019 from Becky Hill was 'Wish You Well', along with Sigala. Becky revealed the inspiration for this song, was a messy break up which happened just after her birthday, which also happened to be Valentine's Day!
The singer explained how she wrote 'Wish You Well' a week after breaking up and the reason for them breaking up was because he needed to "Learn how to love himself".

Shift K3Y & Becky Hill - 'Better Off Without You'
Becky teamed up with British DJ Shift K3Y for 'Better Without You', which was released on 10th January 2020 and peaked at Number 14 in the UK. Becky said of the song: "'Better Off Without You' is that perfect break up song. Starting the year with those New Year, new me feels, it's your new self love anthem of 2020!
"Written about a break up of my own, 'Better Off Without You' was a song that I listened to over the course of 2019 that helped me through some really dark times. I can't wait to share this bit of personal therapy with others and watch the song take on a life of its own."

Sigala & Becky Hill - 'Heaven On My Mind'
Becky and Sigala worked with MNEK on 'Heaven On My Mind', which was released on 25th June 2020 and peaked at Number 14 in the UK, also being certified Silver by the BPI, meaning that it saw over 200,000 sales.

Becky Hill & David Guetta - 'Remember'
Becky Hill and dance DJ David Guetta teamed up on 'Remember' in 2021. The song was nominated for a BRIT Award in 2022, and was a Number 3 hit for the pair.
Wilkinson & Becky Hill - 'Here For You'
Becky and Wilkinson teamed up for the first time in nine years on their new song 'Here For You'. The song is featured on Wilkinson's album 'Cognition'.
Becky Hill & Galantis - 'Run'
Fans were thrilled when Becky Hill announced her dance collab with Swedish duo Galantis. Their track 'Run' was released on 25th February 2022 and has since been certified Gold.
Then, in April, Becky also released an acoustic version of her song.
David Guetta, Becky Hill and Ella Henderson - 'Crazy What Love Can Do'
In April 2022, Becky released a collab with David Guetta nd Ella Henderson. The song was released with a lyric video and 12 days later a mini movie, music video. Becky and Ella play two friends who decide to give up their mundane jobs and go on an adventure. Packing their bags, the pair throw their suitcases in the back of a convertible and take off into the desert on a 'journey of a lifetime'.
Becky Hill and Joel Corry - 'History'
Fans of Joel Corry and Becky Hill could not WAIT to get their ears on 2022 collab 'History', having been waiting for the track to drop for a while. Thankfully, it was released on 5th August 2022, breaking into the Top 20 and being certified Gold in September 2025 with 400,000 UK sales!
Becky Hill x Sonny Fodera - 'Never Be Alone'
In January 2024, Becky released her song 'Never Be Alone' with Sonny Fodera. The song takes influences from deep within the world of club culture, and sees Becky release a song full of pounding beats, luminous synths and atmospheric breakdowns. She wrote the song about life after lockdown, with the singer explaining: "'Never Be Alone' was born out of a post lockdown world where isolation and distance were forced upon the world. With my partner and I both being in music, we really felt the full force of an imposed lockdown on the events industry."
Becky Hill x Andy C - 'Indestructible'
Becky Hill x Andy C joined forces for a song that Becky wrote when she was just 21-years-old. 'Indestructible' was played by Becky and Andy C over the summer of 2024, however on the 30th August 2024 it got its official release. Speaking about the song, Becky Hill said: "Andy C has always been a hero of mine! He was one of my guests for my podcast, The Art Of Rave, and is one of the drum 'n' bass greats who was still on my hit list to work with. Well now, I finally have a tune with him and its massive. I wrote this record when I was 21 and Andy sent it back to me nine years later! I'm very excited for this one to come out, especially with the one and only Executioner!!!" In October 2025, the song was certified Silver in the UK.
Becky Hill x Alesso - 'Surrender'
Becky Hill and Alesso released their song 'Surrender' on 4th April 2025. The duo had been teasing their new music for a while, and even premiered it at Ultra Music Festival at the end of March that year, with Alesso performing on the Main Stage and Becky Hill on the Live Stage where she gave a rare DJ/live performance. It has not yet been confirmed if it will appear on Becky's third album.
Gary Barlow featuring Becky Hill - 'Don't Look Down'
Gary Barlow and Becky Hill teamed up for their first collab 'Don't Look Down'. Speaking about their collaboration, Gary said on Instagram: 'We got in the studio together and something just clicked. The song came together so naturally - one of those moments you don't forget.'
