Joining the latest wave of acts announced, the pair will also be joined by Caroline Rouine O'Connor, founder of Retreat Yourself yoga, Richie Norton, former professional rugby player turned performance strategist and Crystal Main, Ipswich dancer and pioneer member of FitSteps.

Don King Rongavilla, Dublin-based dance fitness curator, choreographer, and acrobatic instructor, also joins the bill.

This year’s two day summer festival will welcome local, national and international health and fitness experts and fitness stars across over 5 festival stages and areas. Festival headliners also include Newry native Maeve Madden, Olympic and world champion gymnast Rhys McClenaghan, Owen O’Kane, Belfast-born therapist to Lewis Capaldi, and Ellen Keane, Irish Paralympic swimmer and gold medallist.

Other local regional talent announced for WellFest Belfast includes former Gladiator contestant and now strength coach Glenn Wilkinson, fitness trainer Kathryn McKinstry, registered dietitian and sports nutritionist Cáoileánn Conway, breathwork therapist Carla McGreevy, power-posing workouts with House of Voga, the Kilted Yogi Finlay Thomas Wilson and Traitors Ireland winner and footballer Vanessa Ogbonna, with many acts more to be announced over the coming months.

Sarah King, Head of WellFest and Belfast native, said: “At WellFest we aim to bring together the most unique and exciting figures of fitness and wellness and give festival-goers the opportunity to try something new and to get out of their comfort zone.

"Joe Wicks has been at the heart of WellFest Dublin since 2017 and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the main stage for the first inaugural WellFest Belfast event.

"We’re equally delighted to announce both Joe and his wife, Rosie Wicks, as headliners for the first- ever WellFest Belfast festival in Ormeau Park this September.”

WellFest NI is also launching a brand-new community initiative for 2026, created specifically for the festival’s debut year in Belfast, with a dedicated offer for nationwide gyms, sports clubs and wellness groups.
