Belfast Pride Festival will be celebrating their 35th anniversary this year, with an exciting calendar of events running from 17th to 26th July 2026.
Highlights include the Pride Village, Party in the Square and the annual Pride Parade through Belfast city centre.
The theme this year is 'Love In Every Colour'
Belfast Pride explains; "35 years ago, 100 brave people took to the streets of Belfast to protest and celebrate their identities. Without them, Belfast Pride would not be where we are today. We have grown so much bringing 83,000 people onto the streets of Belfast in 2025.
"Our theme this year, “Love in Every Colour” honours that journey and recognises the courage of those individuals who came before us and the rising voices of those today who work tirelessly to protect our future and our beautiful community!"
"All genders, all sexual orientations, all sexualities and all identities! To celebrate this, we are excited to announce, we will be unveiling our new giant flag at this year’s parade, celebrating “Love in Every Colour” and in that love, first and foremost, there is Pride."
Over 85,000 people lined the route along the Pride Parade last year, with even more expected to take part this year.
Cool FM and Downtown Radio will be walking in the parade this year, so if you're joining us along the route, be sure to give us a wave!

What time does the Belfast Pride Parade start?
The build-up to the parade takes place at Custom House Square, with the parade starting at 1pm sharp.

This year's route follows the same as last year, starting at Custom House Square and finishing on Victoria Street 👇
How many events are taking place at Belfast Pride?
As well as the parade that travels through the city centre, Belfast Pride's Pride Village can be found at Donegall Quay (beside the Big Fish) from 12noon.
This lively hub is your destination to dive into the spirit of Pride and discover a range of stalls hosted by community groups and statutory agencies, packed with valuable info and resources.
The Pride Village includes a family fun area, live children's entertainment, picnic area, alcohol/smoke/vape-free zone and quiet space to chill out in.
Elsewhere Party in the Square returns to Custom House Square from 12noon, continuing after the parade.
The main stage there will showcase an array of talented local LGBTQIA+ performers and entertainment.
This year, the team have enhanced accessibility throughout the Square, that includes a dedicated viewing area with signing for the show.
