We spoke to him at the 2017 TV Choice Awards

Published 5th Sep 2017

Strictly Come Dancing champions Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton attended the 2017 TV Choice Awards last night, so with the new series of the popular dancing show about to kick off, we asked them which celebrities they think will excel.

With the likes of Key 103 breakfast presenter Gemma Atkinson, Mollie King, Aston Merrygold, and Ruth Langsford all signed up for the new series, Ore and Joanne had a pretty tough prediction to make.

Speaking to our Entertainment Team on the 2017 TV Choice Awards red carpet, Ore and Joanne said they both think former star of The X Factor Alexandra Burke will do well on the show, as well as The Saturdays singer Mollie King.

Surprisingly, professional dancer Joanne also thinks This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford could be in for a chance to win as she's been rumoured for many years, so she believes she has something special.

Ore revealed he thinks Paralympic gold medalist Jonnie Peacock will also do well on the upcoming series. He said, "I reckon Jonnie Peacock is going to do really well. Not only is he a Paralympic gold medal winner, he has it in him to work hard and I think the public are going to get behind him."
