Netflix series you'll want to watch in 2020
We can't wait for these to arrive
As one year draws to a close and other starts, it's a great chance to look ahead at what to expect in 2020, so we asked our friends at Netflix what we should be looking out for in the coming months.
First up is their brand news series Messiah, which is released on 1st January 2020. The provocative, suspenseful geo-political thriller is sure to be a hit, starring Michelle Monaghan, created by Michael Petroni (The Book Thief), and directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) and Kate Woods (Rectify).
Looking further ahead there's also a bit of reality TV being added to the streaming service in early 2020 with Next In Fashion. This is a high-stakes competition series featuring some of the world's best and quietly innovative designers, who compete for a chance to become the next big name in fashion.
The series is hosted by fashion designer and TV personality Tan France and designer, model and global style icon Alexa Chung.

Messiah
Launch: 1st January 2020
When CIA officer Eva Geller uncovers information about a man gaining international attention through acts of public disruption, she begins an investigation into his origins. He continues gather followers who allege he's performing miracles, so the global media become increasingly interested by this charismatic figure.
Eva must race to unravel the mystery of whether he really is a divine entity or a deceptive con artist capable of dismantling the world's geopolitical order.
Locke & Key
Launch: 7th February 2020
Based on a graphic novel, Locke & Key is a new miniseries from Netflix. After the Dad is murdered, the three Locke siblings and their Mum move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse. Once in the house they discover it is full of magical keys that might be connected to their Dad's death.
To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You
Launch:​ February 2020
It's a new year and Lara Jean and Peter are no longer pretending to be a couple, they ARE a couple. As Lara Jean navigates a trove of official firsts with Peter — her first real kiss, her first real date, her first Valentine's Day — she finds herself leaning more on her friends, and an unexpected new confidant.
Sex Education Season 2
Launch: ​Early 2020
Sex Education is about Otis Milburn, a socially awkward high school student who lives with his sex therapist mother, Jean. In season 1 Otis and his friend Maeve Wiley set-up a sex clinic at school to capitalise on his intuitive talent for sex advice.
In season 2, as a late bloomer Otis must master his newly discovered sexual urges in order to progress with his girlfriend Ola whilst also dealing with his now strained relationship with Maeve. Meanwhile, Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a Chlamydia outbreak, highlighting the need for better sex education at the school and new kids come to town who will challenge the status quo.
Next in Fashion
Launch: ​Early 2020
Next In Fashion is a high-stakes competition series coming to Netflix featuring some of the world's best and quietly innovative designers who compete for a chance to become the next big name in fashion. Hosted by fashion designer and TV personality Tan France (Queer Eye) and designer, model and global style icon Alexa Chung.
Next in Fashion begins with eighteen designers who face challenges centering on a different trend or design style that has influenced the way the entire world dresses.
The Eddy
Launch: 2020
An eight-part musical drama set in contemporary multicultural Paris revolving around a club, its owner, the house band, and the chaotic city that surrounds them.
