Following the shock exit of Olivia Attwood from this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, after just 24 hours, fans of the show will be thrilled to know that not one, but two new arrivals are expected to enter the jungle in the coming days!

In what is perhaps the worst kept secret in I'm A Celeb history, former health secretary Matt Hancock and comedian Seann Walsh will be this year's late arrivals.

When is Matt Hancock going on I'm A Celeb?

It's understood Matt and Seann will enter the jungle today (Tuesday 8th November), with the scenes then set to air on Wednesday 9th November's episode, which airs between 9pm-10.20pm.

A TV insider told The Mirror: “Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh are heading into the jungle in the coming hours and there is huge anticipation, particularly for Hancock's arrival.

"The show is doing brilliantly in the ratings already but his introduction will only increase the levels of interest. And how the other contestants react to Hancock will be fascinating. Whatever you think of his decision to go on the show, it will be must watch TV."

Olivia was forced to leave the show after just 24 hours as a precautionary measure to undergo medical tests. An ITV spokesperson said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks. Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

News broke of Matt's involvement in this year's show when he was suspended as a Conservative MP last week.

Chief Whip Simon Hart MP said at the time: "Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect."

Hosts Ant and Dec then joked about Matt's upcoming involvement during their opening monologue on Sunday night's launch show.

Ant sarcastically told viewers: "We have not one but two late arrivals on the way. And fortunately we have managed to keep their identities a complete secret. No-one has got a clue who they are."

Dec then added: "You are going to be surprised, guys. We are going to be rolling out the welcome mat for them soon."

As well as Matt and Sean, McFly star Harry Judd has also been heavily rumoured for the show, but as of yet, nothing has been confirmed.

I'm A Celeb airs every night at 9pm on ITV.
