Love Island series 12 winners revealed
There's a new Queen and King of the villa!
Last updated 5th Aug 2025
After two months, 58 episodes, and 38 Islanders, the 12th series of the hit dating show Love Island came to a close tonight (Monday, 4th August), with host Maya Jama revealing the couple with the most public votes as this year's new winners.
With producers shaking things up this year, fans have dubbed series 12 as “the best in the show's history” and “TV gold”. Over the past eight weeks, Islanders like Harrison Solomon, Helena Ford, Harry Cooksley, and Dejon Noel-Williams kept the drama coming, making this one of the most-talked about series in years.
Who won Love Island?
Following a public vote Toni Laites and Cach Mercer were crowned this year's winners.
Who was in the final?
Four couples made it to the final, check out the final placings below:
Toni and Cach: WINNERS
Toni and Cach received 33.5% of the vote, placing them first!
Shakira and Harry: 2ND PLACE
In second place with 26.2% of the vote, was Shakira and Harry.
Yas and Jamie: 3RD PLACE
Not far behind was Yas and Jamie, who received 22% of the vote.
Angel and Ty: 4TH PLACE
And in fourth place with 18.3% of the vote, Angel and Ty, making this the closest final in Love Island history.
Before Maya announced the results, Monday night's episode saw this year's final couples enjoy their last day in the villa.
Paying back their men for making dinner earlier in the week, the girls set to out to make breakfast, before receiving a text which informed the group they'd all attend a 'finalists dinner' later in the evening.
Getting glammed up, the couples met back in the garden, where things got emotional between the final four.
Toni said to Cach: “I don’t think I tell you enough but the way you treat me has made this whole wacky-ass experience worth it. I think everyone has seen how happy you make me. I’m really thankful to be here with you.”
Cach responded: “I feel like our journey has been a rollercoaster, I’m grateful for every moment. You make me feel very comfortable in here. And I don’t think I could’ve done it with anyone else to be honest with you.”
Angel said to Ty: “You’re everything that I look for in a boy. You’re thoughtful, you make me laugh, and I also fancy the pants off you. I couldn’t be happier.”
Ty then said to Angel: “I want to thank you and the Love Island gods for sending you in. I feel like it was at a time when I didn’t know where I was. You came at the perfect time. You’re everything that I look for in a girl. I feel like I am really falling for you.”
Yas said to Jamie: “I feel like the second I met you, I was in for trouble or in for the long-haul. You just get me completely. I don’t tell you enough but I’m so genuinely appreciative of you and everything you’ve done for me in here. You’ve made me so happy.”
Jamie replied, saying: “Obviously when I came into the Villa, I sat down and had a conversation with you - instantly the energy was matched and I knew from that moment you were the girl that I wanted to be spending my time with in here.”
Speaking to Harry, Shakira said: “Doing this experience without you and watching things unfold was so hard because I felt so strongly towards you. You’re everything I could possibly want in a partner. It’s been an amazing last week and I’m excited for the future.”
Harry added: “I came in here and thought it would be a lot of fun. Finding you in a Villa in Mallorca was not on my bingo card this summer. I do regret taking too long to tell you how I felt. We both know this is more than surface level - I think it always has been for me.”

Will Love Island be back next year?
Although there's been no official confirmation just yet, we suspect Love Island will return for a 13th series in the Summer of 2026, with applications for the show still open.
What we do know is that spin-off series Love Island: All Stars will return for a third series in January 2026, with an extended series lasting for six weeks.
Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director, Lifted Entertainment, said: “Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love. We are very excited about series 3 and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.”
