Love Island fans slam bosses for 'scraping the barrel' with All Star bombshells
Viewers are not impressed with the latest bombshell...
More than 300 Islanders have appeared on Love Island over the years, so it's safe to say bosses aren't too spoilt for choice when it comes to picking bombshells for the second All Stars series.
And whilst they've delivered with the likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Harriett Blackmore and former winner Sammy Root, some of this year's bombshells have left some viewers questioning ITV/STV's pulling power.
With 'lesser known' Islanders such as Omar Nyame, Montel McKenzie and Danielle Sellers joining the villa already, the arrival of the latest bombshell has left viewers accusing bosses of 'scrapping the barrel'.
At the end of Monday (4th February) night's show, former finalist Samie Elishi entered alongside series seven's Chuggs Wallace... Who was only on the show for TWO DAYS back in 2021.
After seeing his arrival, fans of the show were quick to take to social media to express their disappointment.
One wrote: 'Pls can we stop dragging ppl off the streets ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ who is this one ???!!!', with another adding: 'He lasted 48 hours last time, I’m confused?'. (sic) Another gasped: 'Why do I have no clue who this poor guy is 😂😂😂'. (sic)
Somebody else commented: 'Not an all star when only been in their 2 days. Clearly begging people to go on'. (sic)
Another wrote: 'Can we not bring in people who got a total air time of 2 and a half minutes please', with another writing: 'Danielle & Chuggs sorry but there jus not bombshelling like from there previous season no hype at all'. (sic)
Check out which other former Islanders are rumoured to appear on All Stars:
Gemma Owen - Series 8
Jon Clark - Series 1
Chris Hughes - Series 3
Kem Cetinay - Series 3
Ovie Soko - Series 5
Anna Vakili - Series 5
Shaughna Phillips - Series 6
Chloe Burrows - Series 7
Teddy Soares - Series 7
Paige Thorne - Series 8
Jacques O'Neill - Series 8
Meanwhile, although the final is now just two weeks away, it sounds like Chuggs is going to waste no time in the villa.
Admitting why he chose to return, he said: "I’ve been single since my last appearance on the show. I feel like I’ve grown and developed so much as a person and I’m feeling much more serious about wanting a proper relationship. I’m done with the single phase of my life. I’m just looking for that support network, vice versa with whoever I’m with and to enter that next chapter."
And he could be about to cause some drama, admitting he's got his eye on three of the girls.
He added: "I’ve got my eye on Ekin-Su, Tina and Danielle. Ekin-Su is a gorgeous girl and I like how she doesn’t care what people think. She’s very sure of herself. Very confident. I think she’s a little softy deep down. The power of her character attracts me. I can’t imagine her with Curtis. I don’t think it’s that much of a long-term thing. I think something’s missing."
