Jason Gardiner hits back at 'ignorant' Gemma Collins after she said he 'can't skate'
Oh dear!
The brand new series of Dancing On Ice kicked off with an incredible show last weekend. Not only did James Jordan get the highest score ever on Week 1, Didi Conn wore her actual Pink Ladies jacket from Grease and Gemma Collins performed the splits!
Despite viewers at home being impressed by this year's cast, judge Jason Gardiner was back on the ice panel and he didn't hold back with his critique.
After Jason referred to Gemma's routine as a "French and Saunders parody" on the show on Sunday, The GC furiously hit back, claiming Jason 'can't skate'.
She told Lorraine, "I find him highly amusing. I really like him, yes he's definitely going to say stuff about me and Jason Gardiner can't actually skate. Jason can have all the chat, but he can't back it up with the actions."
But now, just days before the second set of celebs skate on Sunday night's show, Jason has hit back at the reality star's comments, calling her 'ignorant'.
Speaking on today's (Friday 11th January) episode of This Morning, Jason said, "We have to forgive these people for being ignorant for not knowing their stuff, she doesn't understand where I can come from, she doesn't know that I can skate."
He then added, "I'm not on the panel to judge the skating, we leave that to skating royalty Jayne and Chris.
"The job of Ashley and I is to talk about the performance the choreography. I enjoy the fact that I will say the truth, but it's also based on experience and expertise, I've been doing this for 35 years."
That's that then!

Meanwhile, in other Dancing On Ice news, after the first six celebrities performed last weekend, it was Neighbours star Mark Little and his professional partner Brianne Delcourt who found themselves bottom of the leader board with a score of 13.5.
Following the public votes, Holly and Phillip announced that Mark Little and Brianne Delcourt are the first couple in next week's skate-off. Mark will be up against the celebrity who receives the lowest votes during Sunday night's show.
Dancing On Ice continues every Sunday at 6pm.
