Despite the disappointment that same-sex dating shows I Kissed A Boy and I Kissed A Girl have been cancelled by the BBC, fans have one last series to enjoy, starting later this month!
Following the second series of I Kissed A Boy last year, the BBC were quick to confirm a second instalment of all-female dating show I KIssed A Girl, hosted by Australian singer Dannii Minogue.
When does I Kissed A Girl start?
It's now been confirmed I Kissed A Girl will begin on Tuesday 23rd June 2026.
The news was announced in a social media post on 10th June, reading: 'Let the flirting begin 💋 #IKissedAGirl coming to iPlayer on the 23rd of June
'It’s loud, proud and starts with a kiss as Dannii Minogue plays cupid to ten single ladies. It’s a heart-breaking, heart-racing hot girl queer summer'. (sic)

The series airs on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

The 10 single ladies were unveiled on Tuesday 16th June, they include:

Dannii Minogue will return to host the show!
Has it been cancelled?
After reports that the show had been cancelled, host Dannii responded in an Instagram video.
Dannii said: “Lots of love, and I’m all right. TwoFour productions have put together this TV show and this series, and to the BBC, who put this groundbreaking television on air – I’m so happy to be part of it.
"This show makes me super proud because it’s a chance to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve had so many incredible cast members share their love, their lives and their stories as part of our show. Season four, featuring the girls, is not far off – you’ll get to see it shortly.”
Dannii then ended the video on a high, saying: “And who knows where the IK series will go from there? Ciao, bella.”
I Kissed A Girl returns for a final series on Tuesday 23rd June.
