HUGE congratulations are in order for Coronation Street star Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Ramsey on the soap. The 34-year-old, who has been a part of the cast since 2016, has announced that she's expecting her first child with her husband Ben Silver - who she tied the knot with three months ago.

The actress took to her Instagram profile to share a wonderful photo of herself and her husband, along with the caption, 'Ben and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby at the end of this year! We are absolutely overjoyed and can’t wait to meet our little one! ❤️❤️❤️ #newarrival #babysilver.' sic

Fans of the actress were absolutely thrilled for the pair, with many taking to the comments section on her post with messages of congratulations. One wrote, 'Congratulations Julia. Kids are an absolute game-change, for the better! Exciting stuff', as another added, 'This baby is going to be so blessed with you two as its parents.'

She even had support from some famous faces, including her former co-star Kym Marsh who is leaving the soap very soon, who wrote, 'So excited ❤️❤️', as Rocketman star Taron Egerton added a simple love heart.

Julia and Ben got married in February this year at the Albert Hall in Manchester, with Ben telling OK! magazine, "As soon as I saw Julia, I just knew it was the best day of my life."
