12 bakers revealed for 2021 series of Bake Off

With the 2021 series of The Great British Bake Off hitting our TV screens on Tuesday 21st September, Channel 4 bosses have now revealed the 12 contestants who will be whipping up a storm in the famous tent.

The brand new cast, who will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of past winners such as Pete Sawkins, Nadiya Hussain, Rahul Mandal and Candice Brown, will show off their baking skills as they try to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, under the watchful eye of hosts Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding.

Ranging from a variety of different jobs, ages and backgrounds, the 2021 Bake Off cast includes a trombonist, a Met Police detective and a 70-year-old retired nurse.

It was confirmed last week that the 2021 series of The Great British Bake Off will begin on Tuesday 21st September.

Airing at 8pm, the popular show will see the return of hosts Matt and Noel, as well much-loved judges Paul and Prue, who will be hoping for no 'soggy bottoms' from the bakers.

The Great British Bake Off will air every Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
