The Vengaboys are back with brand new music
The Vengabus is still going!
They were one of the biggest bands of the 90s, known for their colourful costumes and catchy lyrics.
The four-piece Dutch band Vengaboys, made up of Kim Sasabone, Denise Post-Van Rijiswijk, Robin Pors and Donny Latupeiriss, have sold over 20 million singles and five million albums.
You might remember hits like 'We Like To Party', ''Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom' and 'We're Going To Ibiza' - they're still karaoke classics today!
Well this afternoon they announced on social media that they're back on the music scene with an exciting new single, a cover of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s '1999'.
They've of course out their signature pop twist to the hit. It looks like the quirky outfits are still a favourite for the band 👇
The band shared a sweet message to the '1999' singer/songwriter Charlie XCX: "We love you @charli_xcx you're such a good one😍 You inspired a movement!! Here's an ode to you and the best decade of them all!! 🔙1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣9️⃣🎉🎉🎉 #backto1999"
The year 1999 was a defining moment for the band, against all odds they scored number one in the charts across the world.
Perhaps this new single will inspire a whole new generation of Vengaboys fans. What do you think?
