Cardi B's second album 'Am I The Drama?' has finally arrived

American rapper Cardi B has stormed the charts with hits like 'WAP', 'Girls Like You' and 'UP' in recent years, but fans have been waiting patiently (over seven years in fact) for her second studio album to drop!

Believe it or not, it was back in 2018 when Cardi B released her debut album 'Invasion of Privacy', so it's safe to say fans were over the moon when she announced the follow-up, 'Am I The Drama?', earlier this year, and now the wait is finally over!

What is it called?

Cardi B's new album is called 'Am I The Drama?'.

When is it out?

'Am I The Drama?' is out now! It landed at midnight on Friday 19th September.

Cardi started to tease the album back in June this year, before revealing the official album artwork and release date just days later.

She wrote: 'AM I THE DRAMA? 🐦‍⬛ My new album is out September 19th! Preorder LINK IN BIO'. (sic)

What is the tracklist?

Six years in the making, Cardi B has confirmed that 'Am I The Drama' will feature a huge 23 tracks, including hits such as 'WAP' and 'UP'.

The singer has been questioned for including both 'WAP' and 'UP', tracks which are both years old, but she's defended her decision, revealing they are important creations that deserve recognition.

What collabs are on the album?

Just days ahead of the album's release, Cardi B announced a huge eight collabs that will feature. Artists like Cash Cobain, Lizzo, Kehlani, Janet Jackson, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker and Tyla will all feature.

Is she touring the album?

On Tuesday 16th September, Cardi B announced an American tour for 2026 called the 'Little Miss Drama' tour.

Although she's not announced any UK or European dates, the rapper will perform at over 30 dates across America between February and April next year, after giving birth to her fourth child.

How many albums has she released?

Cardi B has now released two studio albums. The first, titled 'Invasion of Privacy', was released on 6th April 2018 and features tracks such as 'Money Bag', 'Bodak Yellow', and 'Get Up 10'.

She then dropped her second album 'Am I The Drama?' on 19th September 2025.

2018: 'I Like It' with Bad Bunny and J Balvin

'I Like It' was a Top 10 hit for Cardi B back in 2018 when she teamed up with Bad Bunny and J Balvin. It was nominated for Record of the Year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards and also became the highest-ranked song from a female rapper on the Billboard Hot 100 decade-end chart, for the 2010s. It was certified 3x Platinum in the UK with a whopping 1.8 million sales in June 2025.

2018: 'Girls' with Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX

Candi B appeared on Rita Ora's song 'Girls' along with Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX. The song was written by Rita along with a team of songwriters and has been described as an "empowering anthem".
The official music video stars all of the collaborators along with 100s of other girls lounging around in a Grecian looking scene.

2018: 'Girls Like You' with Maroon 5

2018 was clearly the year for collabs for Cardi B as she scored another hit, this time appearing on Maroon 5's song 'Girls Like You'.
This song was nominated for several awards including a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

2019: 'South of the Border' with Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello

Written by the three artists it featured, along with a team of songwriters, 'South of the Border' reached Number 4 in the UK. The song was certified 2× Platinum in the UK and was featured on Ed Sheeran's fourth studio album, 'No.6 Collaborations Project' released in the same year.

2018: 'Finesse (Remix)' with Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars and Cardi B released their first collab together in 2018 called 'Finesse (Remix)'. They followed up their successful collab with another in 2019, 'Please Me'.
Both songs were successful with 'Please Me' getting to Number 12 and 'Finesse (Remix)' Number 5 in the UK.

2020: 'WAP' Megan Thee Stallion

'WAP' with Megan Thee Stallion was a Number 1 hit for Cardi B in 2020. 'WAP' was the lead single from Cardi's upcoming second studio album. It won an American Music Award for Favourite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop and was nominated for several Billboard and MTV Music Awards.

2021: 'Rumours' with Lizzo

Cardi B worked with Lizzo on her song 'Rumours' which was written by the pair, along with some other songwriters. 'Rumours' was nominated for Song of Summer at the MTV Video Music Awards and the music video has now had more than 45 million views.

2023: 'Bongos' with Megan Thee Stallion

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have released a new song called 'Bongos'. The song is their first collab since their Number 1 hit 'WAP'.

2024: 'Puntería' with Shakira

Cardi B teamed up with Shakira for this Spanish sizzler in March 2024 — and it was nominated for an MTV VMA.

2025: 'Safe' with Kehlani

As well as dropping her album 'Am I The Drama?' in September 2025, Cardi B also released a brand new track called 'Safe' alongside Kehlani. The ladies appear in a music video together looking sensational.
