Rich Peppiatt’s biopic sensation 'Kneecap' has been shortlisted for six nominations in the British Film Academy Awards (BAFTAs).
This year's EE Bafta film awards will be hosted by Doctor Who star David Tennant on Sunday, 16th February 2025.

The BAFTA nominations arrive hot on the heels of 17 IFTA nods announced yesterday, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Script, and a triple Lead Actor recognition for Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, Naoise Ó Cairealláin, and JJ Ó Dochartaigh.
What is Kneecap about?
The film, directed by Rich Peppiatt follows the real-life story of Irish native speaking rap group Kneecap and how the Belfast trio became unlikely figureheads of a civil rights movement to save and reinvigorate their mother tongue.
