New trailer shows the sinister side of Don't Worry Darling
It comes out in cinemas in September
We're only a couple of months away from the highly-anticipated cinematic release of Don't Worry Darling, starring Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Olivia Wilde and Chris Pine. The film is due to hit cinemas on 23rd September and in the meantime, there is a brand new trailer we can watch.
Released by Warner Brothers, the second trailer dropped on 22nd July and gives a deeper dive into the storyline of the psychological thriller.
Set in the picture-perfect town Victory in the 1950s, the film follows couple Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) as Alice discovers things aren't quite what they appear to be in the idyllic town.
The film's synopsis reads: 'Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. The 1950’s societal optimism espoused by their CEO, Frank (Pine)—equal parts corporate visionary and motivational life coach—anchors every aspect of daily life in the tight-knit desert utopia.
'But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why.'
While the first trailer, released in May, gave an overview of the characters, the community and a hint that some cracks were appearing in the town's utopian façade, the second trailer shows a lot more of the mysterious and sinister side of the story.

Not only does Olivia Wilde star in the film as Bunny alongside her real-life boyfriend Harry, she also directs the movie. The film is based on a book by the same name, written by Carey Van Dyke, Shane Van Dyke and Katie Silberman.
While many fans know Harry for his singing, this isn't the first film he has appeared in. As well as releasing his hugely successful third album 'Harry's House' he's put a lot of time into his acting career in recent years.
After his acting debut in Dunkirk in 2017, fans got to see a snippet of Harry as Eros at the end of Marvel film Eternals, a role which he will likely return to in the future. You can also see him play secretly gay policeman Tom Burgess who is caught in a love triangle in My Policeman, which is due to come out on 21st October.
