Strictly Come Dancing 2018 winner Stacey Dooley has FINALLY lifted the lid on her relationship with her professional dance partner, and now 'boyfriend', Kevin Clifton.

It comes after the pair have kept silent on the romance rumours that've been swirling for the past few months around their relationship status.

Speaking to The Guardian, Stacey revealed, "Kev and I have decided not to go into too much detail about our private lives because you can't really indulge that and then ask for privacy.

"That's why we've turned down interviews that have offered us tens of thousands of pounds".

The investigative journalist went on to say, "What I am happy so say is Kev is amazing, I'm happy, life happens, I've got an amazing career and I'm very lucky".

Stacey's revelation comes after Kevin appeared on ITV's This Morning, and was grilled by host Ruth Langsford on the pair's blossoming romance.

When put on the spot and asked, "And how are things with Stacey?", Kevin shyly responded, 'Yes. All good. Yes", before cheekily adding, "Look at this, straight into the personal life!".

Pressing for another comment, Ruth then described Kevin as very 'smiley', but the Grimsby-born fan favourite remained blank, repeating what he'd said before, "Yeah, all good".

Stacey and Kevin first met last year, after being partnered together and winning the glitterball trophy. But shortly after the series finished, Stacey split with her ex-boyfriend of five years Sam Tucknott in March.

Following their split, Sam went on to reveal how he found a message from Kevin on Stacey's phone which read "I love you".

However, Stacey hit back, taking to Twitter to defend herself. Writing to her 291,000 followers, she said, 'Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are 2 sides to every story. I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here. Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward'. sic
