The line-up for the 2021 series of Dancing On Ice is seriously hotting up! After the likes of Denise van Outen, Faye Brookes and Joe Warren Plant were all announced last week, TV personality Rebekah Vardy has now confirmed her place on the show.

Appearing on Tuesday's (29th September) episode of Good Morning Britain, Jamie Vardy's wife admitted she's taking part in the show and is very excited for training to begin in the coming weeks.

She said, "My dad taught me how to stand up on a pair of skates when I was about seven years old. He used to take us to the local ice rink so it's a really fun family thing for us to have done together and I'm really excited actually. The only time I've been ice skating since is when we take the kids to our local ice rink at Christmas to have a really good time."

When asked what her footballer husband thinks of the new venture, Rebekah added, "Jamie thinks it's such a brilliant idea. He's really looking forward to watching me and says he hopes I don’t fall over too much.”

Check out which other celebs have been announced for the 2021 series of Dancing On Ice:

Joe-Warren Plant - Pulled out of the show due to COVID-19

Colin Jackson CBE

Following her showdown with fellow WAG Coleen Rooney last year, Rebekah also admitted she's eager to 'clear her name'.

Although she wasn't able to go into the details for legal reasons, Rebekah told the show, “Look, we tried to sort things out amicably, it just didn’t work. I understand people think it’s ridiculous, but what was I meant to do? I need to clear my name. I want to clear my name. I will do whatever that takes. I hope it’s going to be resolved soon. It’s just one of the things that has to go through the process unfortunately now.”

Speaking to Piers Morgan, she added, “I found it really tough. But to be fair Piers, in comparison to what some people have gone through with Covid and things like that, it’s incomparable.”

Of course, Rebekah is no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on the 2017 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, where she become a household name across the nation. Unfortunately for Rebekah, the mum-of-five was the third person to be voted off, meaning she finished in ninth place on the show.

Dancing on Ice will return to our TV screens in January 2021, with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
